ZAC
I took a towel to my face as the water ran down to my neck. Fatima and I had a great night last night but she left out early this morning to go to that meeting about the telethon. She wanted me to come but I wasn't waking up at no 7 am. Then after that she has to go to work, so I won't see her until later today. But, I might stop by her office and bring her some lunch.
My phone started ringing from my bedroom. I walked out the bathroom and went to go get it. I looked at the screen and it was Justin. I wasn't planning on hearing from him today he's usually at work. But I answered the called.
"Hey bro what's up?" I answer the phone.
"Hey I was just calling cause Rakeem and I are stepping out in a little bit, we just wanted to see if you wanted to come?" Justin asked.
"Where y'all going?"
"Wherever the wind blows us." Justin said making me laugh. "You trying to avoid Brooklyn?" I ask seriously joking.
Justin sighed deeply and blew air through his lips making a vibrating sound. "Man don't get me started. I'm glad she's busy this morning." He said.
"Alright well I just got out the shower. I'm gonna get dressed, where should I meet you guys?" I ask Justin.
"Uh IHOP, I'm hungry." Justin said.
"Okay I'll see you in a bit."
"Alright bye."
I hung up the phone and tossed it on the bed. I went to the closet and started to get dressed. It didn't take that long. After I got ready, I went and got in my car. My phone started ringing again, this time it was Fatima. I wasted no time answering it.
"Good morning baby." I said answering the phone.
"Good morning.. You in the car?" She asked hearing the background.
"Yes I'm on my way to have breakfast with Justin and Rakeem.." I tell her.
Fatima made a confused sound, "Who's Rakeem?" She asked.
"Someone we play ball with." I tell Fatima.
I heard Fatima sigh, "Are you making sure you can trust all these people before you just start hanging out with. There are still people wondering how you got all this money." She explained to me.
"Look I know thah and I'm watching out. Nobody has given me any weird vibes." I tell her. "How's the meeting going?" I ask her.
"Good we're going to make sure this telethon raises a lot of money." Fatima said sounding happy.
"Well I'm proud of you. Being a good citizen." I said jokingly.
"I have to go but can I see you for lunch?" She asked.
