I walked into the house and heard movement around the kitchen. I smelled food and got excited.

"Baby you got it smelling good—"

I turned the corner and saw not only Fatima in the kitchen but also my mom. They were tag teaming dinner, in my kitchen. All I could do was stop in my tracks. My heart started racing and it took everything in me to black out.

"Fatima let me talk to you." I said walking backwards.

She looked up at me and smiled nervously. "Okay." She said.

She sat the spoon she was using down and walked over to me. I grabbed her hand and pulled her into the living room.

"How was your day baby?" She asked trying to kiss me as I stepped back.

"Don't do that." I said pushing her back. "Why is my mom here? I thought we talked about this?"

"Yes we did but I wanted to surprise you." Fatima said.

I chuckle, "A SURPRISE would've been you cooking for me but ass naked, not this bullshit!" I whispered loudly.

"Stop yelling at me!" Fatima said getting loud.

"Why don't you ever listen to me?" I ask Fatima. "I tell these things for a reason! Listen to me sometimes! Damn!"

I continued saying a few things before Fatima had finally had enough. She wiped the sweat off of her hands and took a deep breath.

"Stop fucking talking to me like that.." she said grabbing my shirt aggressively. "Before I embarrass you in front of your own mother." She mouthed off.

"I'm sorry." I said as she let me go.

"Thank you." Fatima said. "I'm pregnant and I'm ready to eat. Zadie is on her way. Why don't you go upstairs and freshen up?" She suggested.

"Alright I'm going upstairs." I announce. "But if I don't come back down, don't come looking for me." I shake my head.

"Bye Zac." Fatima said walking back into the kitchen.

I walked upstairs and immediately pulled out my phone. My first instinct was to call Rakeem or Justin so that they could come by and take some of the pressure off of me. But unfortunately Rakeem didn't answer so I got stuck with the dumb ass friend. I put the phone up to my ear angrily as it rang. Seconds later Justin had finally picked up.
