After Fatima left out for work I cleaned the house a little bit and then a shower. I'm supposed to meeting with Anthony today, it's honestly still a lot going on in my head so work is something that I need to be focusing on. If I work more, I will be thinking about everything else, less.

Everything that happened yesterday with Zadie really got me thinking about my past and how much stuff I'm not over. It does feel good to have a fresh start with Zadie, I'm not sure if I'm ready to start building a new relationship with my mom, but I am old enough to at least hear what the woman has to say. At the end of the day, she did birth me and give me life, so the least I can do is just talk to her. Plus, it doesn't seem like her and Zadie are coming back around with any motives. I feel like if they were, she'd still be prying for me to talk to her, but Zadie said she hasn't been around, so that's a good sign.

KNOCK.KNOCK.KNOCK.

I turned the dishwasher on as I heard someone knocking at the door. I went to the door and opened it.

"Hey." Zadie said leaning on Justin.

I looked the pair up and down before letting them in. This happened fast.

"Good morning." Justin said.

"Good morning, what do you guys want?" I ask them.

Zadie crossed her arms, "We cam to pick you up, so we could go get breakfast." She said.

"You could've texted me. I'm cleaning." I tell her.

She rolled her eyes, "Cleaning what? Y'all just moved in." She said. "Come on, come eat with us." She begged.

I sigh deeply, "Why do y'all want me to come with y'all so bad? You tryna set me up?" I ask stepping back. "We just all started getting along again." I said side eyeing them.

Zadie and Justin looked at each, they started laughing.

"Nobody is trying to set you up." Justin said. "We just wanna hang out with you. Where's Fatima?" He asked.

"She's at work." I tell them. "Somewhere y'all need to be. Y'all don't have jobs?" I ask them.

"Nigga you know I got a job." Justin said. "And she don't gotta work, I got her." He said putting his arm around Zadie's neck.

His words made her smile and made me cringe. I reached out and slapped his arm.

"Stop it." I said. "You just met her." I remind him.

Justin laughed in my face and I watched him as he kissed my cousin on the side of her forehead. The energy between these two have definitely shifted. They seem more close and intimate. I know something went down but I'm not going to ask either one of them, they'll both lie to me. I'm gonna use somebody else to pump the information out of them.
