I ended up by the cliff. The same one I go to when I first have my break down, after accepting Ryusui and declare a temporary separation from Ukyo. I sit down and hugs my knees close to my chest. I start to sway my body back and forth as I start to cry harder. Ukyo... I miss you so much.

Y/N P.O.V

I just stay where I am, not wanting to go back where the others are. Mostly because I don't want to see Ryusui. He can do whatever he wants, I don't care anymore. If he try anything... I'll make him regret it.

I hear footsteps coming closer towards where I am. I just stay silent, while staring into the distance. Not giving the person any attention. But I know whoever the person is, he or she is standing right behind me.

"Y/N" the person said. I can already tell who it is by the voice. "Go away... I'm not in the mood..." I said, coldly. The person let out a sigh and walks closer. I feel his hand on my shoulder. I grab it and flips him over.

He let out a groan as he lands on the ground. I slam my knee on his chest, to prevent him from getting up. I swing my hand, stopping a few millimeter away from his face.

I let out a low growl as he stares at me with a startled expression. "What part of 'go away' do you not get, hm? I mean it... Go. Away. I don't want to hurt you" I said, glaring at him.

"I just want to talk to you. Nothing more. Please just hear me out?" He said, placing both of his hands on either side of his head. I can see a pleading look in his eyes.

Ryusui is a spoiled child. It's not everyday a man like him would want to talk, especially with a desperate expression. I have no choice but to let him.

I let out a sigh and remove my knee from his chest. I take a seat on the ground, making sure to keep some distance between us. I look away from him, hugging my knees.

"Spill... what do you want to talk about?" I asked. I can hear him letting out a sigh after a while. "I was so used to getting everything I wanted simply using money. So I thought... that I can actually have you. But then I realize that you're a human with emotion and not a mindless object... it was so wrong for me" he said. I turn my head to look at him. He stares at the distance, without looking at me.

"I'm sorry... for everything. I just like you so much... and I thought that I can make you the happiest girl alive. I wanted to have you as mine no matter what it takes... even with money" he said. I can feel anger growing within me with how arrogant he sounded. I turn to glare at him. But the glare flatter when I see the sad expression on his face.

"You're just so amazing... not to mention, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on. I guess, I let my greediness get the best of me and try to tear you away from the person you actually love. I'm kind of jealous, you know. Ukyo is one lucky man... to be able to be love by you. I can see the love to have for him. The way you snapped at me... the way to yell at me. The look in your eyes was of pure sadness and pain. It made me realize how much I've hurt you for making you two break up, and I'm so... so sorry" he said. I watch as a tear escape his eyes.

I let out a sigh and scoots closer to him. I gently place a hand on his cheek, wiping away his tears. "I'm sorry I can't return your feelings, Ryusui. I love Ukyo... and he's the only one I'll ever love..." I said, looking at him with a soft gaze. He nods his head at what I said.

"I know... I just want to have a chance to be with you. Even for a short while... it's still the best thing that's ever happened to me. I've always have girls lining up for me. You're the only one who treats me like a normal guy. I guess... I love the feeling, and I don't want it to go away..." he said. I let out a sigh and wrap my arms around his neck. He gently hugs me back.

"One day you'll find someone who will... after we rescue everyone" I said. He nods his head, burying his face into my hair. "Thank you, Y/N... and I'm more than willing to help Senku to achieve that goal..." he said. I smile softly at what he said. I give his shoulder a gentle nudge.

"You're not that bad, Ryusui..." I said. He smiles at what I said. "You think so? Does that mean... I can win your heart?" He said. I give him a frown at what he said. "Don't push it..." I said. He let out a laugh and ruffles my hair.

"I'm just kidding..." he said. I roll my eyes at what he said. "You'll be to taking off with Senku and Chrome on the hot balloon tonight, right?" I said. He smiles at me and nods his head.

I turn my head to look at the sky. "Must be nice to be up there..." I said. He let out a chuckle and nods his head, turning to look at me. "Yeah..." he said, with a smile on his face.

Everyone is gathering around the place where the air balloon will be taking off. I stand in front of Chrome, and Senku. Chrome looks so eager to get on the air balloon. I can't blame him... it must be the first time he'd see things from the sky.

"Can we go already?!" He whined. I let out a laugh and gently pat his shoulder. "Relax, Chrome... you'll go soon" I said. I turn to look at Senku. He smiles at me and hands me a box.

"What's this?" I asked, eyeing the box in confusion. "It's your serum, of course. Do you expect it to be a heart warming parting gift?" He said. I roll my eyes at what he said. "Not if it's from you. We all know you are not into that" I said. He chuckled at what I said.

"It's almost time for you to take another shot. I've told Gen how to..." he said. I hum and nod my head. I walk towards him and wrap my arms around his neck.

"Get off me!" He said. I let out a laugh and pull away from him. "Sorry, Senku. Can't help it. I just want to thank you... for everything. Not only for opening my eyes that not all science are bad. But also for being an awesome friend" I said, grinning at him. He roll his eyes. I can see pink tint on his cheeks.

"Senku!!!" Chrome whined. I let out a laugh and pat the scientist's shoulder. "Off you go, science boy..." I said, smiling softly at him. He hums softly and turn around. He get on the air balloon.

Ryusui moves to stand in front of me. "Take care of those two for me, alright?" I said. He hums and nods his head. "Of course... you can count on me, Y/N..." he said. He take a step closer to me and gently place a soft kiss on my forehead. I froze at his move.

"That kiss on your forehead only means I care for you. I've made my decision, Y/N. I'm letting you go. You can go back to your beloved Ukyo" he said. I just smile softly at him. He turns around and walks up to the air balloon.

The three of them slowly takes off. Everyone starts to cheer happily and excitedly. The people from the Ishigami Village specifically. It's the first time for them to see something like this. Senku... you really are the star of hope for humanity. In your hands, things will surely go back to what it once was.
