Simon:

My heart was pounding like crazy. Blood was boiling in my veins, and adrenaline rushed to my head, all to find him.

His friend was standing in front of a car. Please help me!

-Felice, do you know where he is? I breathed.

-That building. She pointed. I thought I would call the shots, but then I saw you. This is between you and him?

-Yes.

-Ok, then I won't interfere, yet. You better watch out. The girl warned me.

-Thank you. I kissed her cheek, cupping her face.

I ran into that building. Damn, breathing is hard sometimes.

I gently leaned my hand against the brick wall, trying to catch my breath. I spotted the blonde boy, sitting on the cold floor, huddled like a frozen animal.

Slowly and cautiously, I made my way toward him, sinking a little.

-Wille...

-Don't! Just please, don't. He waved his hands, without giving me a single look.

-Can I at least describe the situation, please?

-What is there to describe? His voice squeaked.

Ok, now I can see his eyes.

-How does it look to you? I asked.

-That you were flirting with each other, and you were just about to kiss. You said: maybe, Simon. Are you considering it?

-No! And at this point, please let me explain.

The boy bit his bottom lip and nodded once.

-He asked me about the kiss, yes, because I misinterpreted things in the first place. Yesterday, I assumed he was trying to kiss me, although he was not. And then we kind of laughed about it, and he assured me that even if he wanted it, he would check if this was okay. Then he did ask me this question and I said maybe, and then I added on the cheek. I highlighted. That's the only consent I gave him. I was terrified, coz I don't wanna kiss him! He's not...

He's not you.

His gaze softened, and his hands were no longer shaking that much. That's a good sign.

-I'm not here to limit you. Wille spoke almost velvety.

-I know. I don't feel like it. It's just the fact that I simply don't wanna have any other romantic relationship, and no one is attracted to me that much.

Can I...?

What I wished to do was to put my head on his arm, and scrap his hands.

-Sure.

-Are we good? I asked.

-We are. He whispered.

I'm sorry that I overreacted. He added.

-Hey, you have every right to feel bad about it or be pissed off even. I'm not mad if you assumed that. What is important is that we're okay.

My palms were kissed. This gesture was so intimate, ''perfect''.

-Ok. I've got a surprise for you. Wille smiled.

-Which is?

He zipped his mouth.

-Oh, come on, just tell me! I pulled him closer.

-No-no, Simon!

You're gonna find out. Meet me at my place later, ok? I will text you.
