Sara:
I was glad that August was there. We had enough time to really connect with each other, and I think we are becoming pretty good friends. Our relationship was complicated in the past. Now it seems almost pure, clear, and honest. I wouldn't like to change it.
We stepped outside of my place, and something caught my interest...
It was a slim, beautiful motorcycle right in front of the house.-Please don't tell me it's yours. I took a deep breath and then sighed with resignation.
-Indeed it is. Say hi to Thunderstorm! He grinned widely.
-You named your bike Thunderstorm? Seriously, August? What are you? A weather forecast? I smirked.
-Ha-Ha! Not funny, Sara. He smiled.
Would you like to take a ride with me so then I can show you the real thing? He asked me, with his eyes fixed on me.
-Oh, thank God! For a second I thought that you're just gonna be a total jackass and keep whining about your perfect baby. I punched the bike lightly.
Glad that I was wrong. I said in a slightly lower tone.
-Come on! He gave me a tiny, private smile, again.
He helped me to get on the vehicle, we put on our helmets of course, and then our little ride began.
I've never felt anything like this! It was absolutely breathtaking, literally, coz I felt like the air stuck in my lungs until, the end of the ride, yet somehow, I wasn't struggling and trying to take a normal breath. It was almost like I was some kinda a creature that doesn't necessarily need to breathe like a human or an animal. Everything was happening so fast, yet there were some small, tiny pauses where I could really focus on things around us, and not only that, but just experience them, and that particular moment. August choose to drive through many various locations, which expanded my curiosity to the level when I probably couldn't be more excited, and nervous too, of course. We drove through my neighborhood, seeing low-rise houses owned by middle-class people. There are some places with an interesting history that I want to show August so he can get to know us better. For example, our local library is one of the most mysterious and engaging places I've ever seen in my life. I prefer it to our main one in town, coz this one is just smaller, the building is extremely old, quite scarred by the passing of time. It reminds me of Kcnokturn Alley from Harry Potter, it is magical indeed. We visited the city center, which was a journey as well, we even stopped by for some bubble tea, adored by Felice, and despised by August. I found them quite tasteful, especially the mango one, which is making my company twitch. He didn't say any harmful words about it today though, just that is awful, and bubbly. After a quick break, we head down the road, fastly avoiding the busy street, and somehow we ended up riding close to the river. It was majestic! There was a beautiful view of the water all around, and the only thing that separated us from it was a low wall, finished with beautiful, marble handrails, here and there finished with ornaments. I'm not sure how much time had passed until we were on the roads near the woods. And suddenly our bike slowed down, I could really hear a nuisance for the machine to rattle. We stopped moving completely. I took a look around, to see that we were indeed at the entrance to the wood. The trees, the soft movement of the wind, I could never get enough of it. August helped me to get back on the ground, and at that moment he showed his charming side again, which painfully reminds me of a prince.
He was standing at the edge, watching, observing the surroundings very thoroughly.
-Wow! The view is outstanding, isn't it? He questioned openly.
You like it? He turned to me.
-Yes, I do. I answered softly.
We exchanged smiles, and I ended up in his arms.
