*Keira POV*
Im glad theyre okay now, im also happy that theyre laughing and joking together. after dinner me and Lucy were clearing up and Skylar wanted to help so bad, bless her heart. we told her no so she said she would make a coffee instead. when she said that Lucy turned into a proper mom "youre not having coffee Skye" to which she had a reply back to, like she does everything else. shes just boiled the kettle to make me and herself a cup of tea when we just finished clearing up.
Lucy- all done, im going to sit down now
Keira- me too, Skylar, you joining us?
Skylar- um yeah just let me finish this
I walk into the front room and sit down with Lucy. we decide on watching the football because Arsenal are playing and we love watching the girls play. some of our best friends are in Arsenal so its nice to watch. Skylar walks in with a tray of drinks in her hands
Skylar- Arsenal will win
Keira- how do you know?
Skylar- because theyre playing Brighton, theyll put up a fight but they wont beat the players Arsenal have
Lucy admired that she was so passionate about football, hopefully they could play together soon. When Brighton Scored at 15 minutes I wasnt sure about what Skylar said. halftime and Arsenal still havent scored...
Keira- still sure they will win?
Skylar- absolutely, i have to believe in these girls. arent you like friends with some of them?
Lucy- most of them to be fair
Keira- we play for England together
Lucy- oh speaking of, were meeting with some friends tomorrow, would you like to come with us or stay here?
Skylar- are you sure its okay for me to come?
Keira- of course it is, we would love for you to meet some of the girls
Lucy- yeah absolutely, you know Alessia Russo and Ella Toone?
Skylar- united players? really?
Keira- yes
Skylar- im so coming- oh its back on!
We watch the rest of the game. at 55 minutes, Miedema scored a great goal. it was quite close to the goal so it wasnt the greatest goal of all time but a goal is a goal.
Skylar- *Gives Keira a 'told you so' look*
Lucy- YESSS COME ON
Keira- ouch, my ears
Lucy- sorry
We all laugh but it actually did hurt my ears a little bit. only 5 minutes later there was another free kick to Arsenal, Beth Mead took it and crossed it into the goal. defence was shocking, nobody tried to stop it from going it because it went so quick and was so high in the air. this earned more screaming from Lucy.
Lucy- GO ON MEADO!
The end result of the game was 2-1.
Skylar- i told you so
Keira- you did
Lucy- i didnt know you were that into football
Skylar- ive always loved football. ive been trying to get scouted for years to be honest but i could only play at school so it never happened
Lucy- we will have to see your skills when youre all healed. how are your ribs actually?
Skylar- in pain, thats why i didnt scream or jump up like i normally would. its okay though
Keira- do you want us to look at getting you some meds for it?
Skylar- no its manageable, its okay
Lucy- if it gets any worse tell one of us okay?
Skylar- i will, can i go to bed now pleaee? im tired
Keira- of course you can, you dont have to ask
Skylar- thank you
Lucy- no need to thank us, ill be up in a minute
when Skylar leaves Lucy turns to me.
Lucy- thank you
Keira- what for?
Lucy- being so accepting and including Skylar in everything
Keira- i can see that shes important to you, so shes important to me too
Lucy- Keira i love you
Keira- and i love you
Lucy- are you coming to say goodnight?
Keira- yeah of course
Lucy- *knocks on the door* Skye weve come to say goodnight
Skylar- you can come in *stressed out*
Keira- whats wrong?
Skylar- i dont know what to wear tomorrow!
Lucy- oh dont worry, anything will do
Skylar- but i want to look nice and i dont have any clothes
Lucy- we can get you some clothes Skye
Skylar- you dont have to, honest
Keira- we want to *smiles*
Lucy- how about this?
Skylar- thats a tracksuit Lucy
Lucy- but its a nice one
Skylar- *looks to Keira for approval*
Keira- i like that, you should wear that one
Skylar- okay ill wear that one
Skylar puts out her clothes for tomorrow and then gets into bed.
Skylar- do you think theyll like me?
Lucy- *sits on Skylars bed* they would be crazy not to
Skylar- we will see. goodnight Lucy
Lucy- goodnight Skye, let me know if you need anything, were just across the landing
Skylar- i will. goodnight Keira
Keira- goodnight beautiful girl *smiles*
After saying goodnight we leave the room and let Skylar go to sleep. as soon as i shut the door Lucy pulls me into her and just hold me in a hug, shes so sweet.
we both decide to also go to bed so we can be up early tomorrow ready to meet the girls.
throughout the night, i heard somebody in the house. i decide to follow the noise which could have been a really bad and dangerous idea. i walk slowly down the stairs and hear the tap running, im immediately confused. as i walk further through the house, the kitchen comes into view, at the same time so does Skylar.
I immediately let go of a breath that i didnt know i was holding. Skylar freezes in position when she sees me.
Skylar- im sorry *looks scared*
Keira- you dont have to be sorry Skylar, its the middle of the night, why are you up?
Skylar- i um.. had a nightmare
Keira- why didnt you come get us?
Skylar- didnt want to wake you up
Keira- it doesnt matter if you wake us up, you shouldnt go through it on your ow. come here *pulls Skylar into a hug*
I dont ask her what the nightmare was about, i dont need to know, nor does she need to tell me. if she wants to tell me she will but im not going to push her for that information. i keep her close to me in a hug until she feels okay again and tell her that if it happens again through the night to come get me. i didnt sleep for the rest of the night worrying about her.
