*Skylar POV*
surprisingly, none of the girls asked anything about my background or why they've never met me before, im glad about that but I know that they do want to ask some things. I just wish they wouldn't be scared about it.
Over dinner, everyone agreed that they're going in the pool after. They asked me if I wanted to go and I was more than willing to go, im happy that they invited me to be honest, like they want to spend time with me.
I'm just rummaging through my drawers trying to find my swimsuit. I got one whilst I was out with the girls in Manchester but I didnt think about all the visible bruises so I have to throw a tshirt over the top. Hopefully I don't draw too much attention to myself.
Ellie- Skylar!?
Skylar- I'm in the bathroom!
Ellie- are you ready to go down?
Skylar- yeah 2 secs
I walk down to the pool with Ellie. Lucy immediately sees me when I walk through and gives me a questioning look. She doesnt have time to talk to me before I'm being pulled away from everyone by Millie and Rach.
Rachel- Little Bronze!
Millie- come play with us!
Skylar- I'm coming! Hold on! I'll see you later Ellie
Ellie- have fun, I'll catch you later
We played for a while with a blow up ball, it was so funny, I can tell I'm going to be close with Millie and Rachel. Lucy and Keira called me over after a while.
Lucy- Skye!
Skylar- *swims over* whats up
Lucy- what's with the tshirt?
Skylar- oh I was um a bit insecure
Lucy- has someone said something?
Skylar- no
Lucy- you sure?
Skylar- yeah
Keira- were going back up to our room now
Skylar- okay
Lucy- don't stay down here too late. Just come jn to us when you're going to bed
Skylar- I will *small smile*
Keira- see you later
Skylar- byee
I swim over to Alessia and Ella who are just sat chatting with some of the girls.
Beth- hey trouble
Skylar- hey girls
Leah- you okay?
Skylar- I'm good thank you
Ella- Lucy telling you off again?
Skylar- no just telling me not to stay here too late
Alessia- she just cares about you
Skylar- I know
Leah- I mean she is your mom after all
Skylar- yeah of course
Beth- that was a surprise to us to be fair
Skylar- yeah? You can ask questions you know
Leah- why didn't we know about you before?
Skylar- it's a long story, long story short we only recently got reunited with each other
