I get home and go to my room then my phone rings. It's Stephen. I answer.

"Hello?"

"Hey"

"Is everything good?" I ask him.

"I know you got fired. The whole time it's like we were just friends with benefits. I really like you Destiny but I just feel like I was a distraction for you to get over Devin."

"Steph you were never a distraction. I know it feels like we were friends with benefits but it was more that that. I fell in love with you but we can only be friends"

"You know we can be more than friends but your holding back. You refuse to let Devin go because you don't know what's good for you. I can treat you better than him."

"Stephen I'm sorry"

"Yeah me too"

"I'd love to stay friends with you-"

"I got too attached for us to just stay as friends Destiny"

He says and hangs up.

Shit. Steph is a really amazing guy. I just messed up.

I'm pregnant with his baby and we're not even dating. I wish things were different.

I decide to paint.

I clean up my mess and wash my hands.

*Knock knock*

"I'm having a party later with the team so you don't have to be here if you don't want to"

"Ohh umm I'll go to my friend's house"

"You sure you don't want to stay here?"

I wonder if they're are any parties.

I scroll on my Instagram and see if there is anything.

After a while of searching I get a text from Devin.

Your invited to my Halloween party!starts at 6:00. Dress up, no drugs, bring drinks.

Then on the bottom is his address.

Great. I forgot today was Halloween.

I'll just shop for a costume.

I leave and go to to a few stores.

Devin texts me.

'what are you going to be?'

Me: You'll see at the party.

'Oh so you're going?😏

Me: what are you gonna be?

Me: nice. Well ttyl gotta go

I turn off my phone and start shopping.

~38 minutes later

I get home and change.

I also bought nails.

It took me forever to find a red wig.

I do my makeup. After all that I put green rinestones above my right eyebrow.
