"mmmm" I stretch and wake up Devin.
"Baby I'ma go shower"
He's still sleeping.
I gently push him. "I guess you don't want to come with me. Ohhh well"
He places his hand on my arm. "Good morning my love"
I smile. "Finally you're awake"
"Because of you. You know I'd never miss an opportunity to shower with you baby"
"I know"
He kisses me.
"Ewww morning breath"
He glares at me. "Shut yo ass up"
I laugh and he gets up and grabs me off the bed.
"Put me down"
He smiles and puts me down in the bathroom.
"Get the shower ready. I'ma get our clothes"
"Okay baby"
I turn on the water and make sure it's streaming hot.
Devin brings in our clothes.
We get in the shower then he holds me.
"This hot ass water"
"Well last time we took a shower the water was warm because of you"
"It was not warm Des"
"Mhm"
He smiles and we shower.

I finish getting ready as I watch Devin look out my bedroom window.
My phone rings and he answers it.
"What's good man"
"Yeah. She busy getting dressed"
"You can come over in twenty minutes"
"Ight" he hangs up and tosses my phone on the bed.
I get my lotion and moisturizer.
"Who was that?"
"Curry. He gon bring y'all daughter"
"Oh okay" I sit down and do my makeup.
"Baby?"
"Hmm?" He looks at me.
"Can we go to Barnes and Noble tomorrow?"
"Yeah baby"
"I haven't read in months. I just miss is"
"We'll go in the afternoon"
"Okay"
"Here's your bronzer"
"Thank you baby but I don't need that yet"
"Huh?"
"Yes baby. I do my eyebrows first. Then foundation, concealer, and everything after that"
"I know babygirl"
"Now go. I gotta do my makeup"
"Lemme do it for you"
"No" I mean mug him.
"Yes" he lifts me up and sits down and places me on his lap.
"Babyyyy"
"Shut up and let me do your makeup" he smiles and organizes my makeup.
