Me and Stephen agreed to stay as friends and put our daughter first. Me and Devin are still together and I still have my job. My dad has been busy and he's barely around. Life is good now and I can't complain. Devin is staying with me for a while until they finish fixing his house and I had one pregnancy scare.
Monday Afternoon ~ three o'clock
I call sydel.
"Hey girl"
"Hey, what's up?"
"Can I see unique"
"Yeah, hold on"
"Okay"
She turns on the camera and I smile.
Aw my beautiful daughter.
"Thank you"
"Yeah of course"
"Hey, I gotta go. Steph is calling me"
"Okay"
She smiles and hangs up. I smile and Devin walks in.
"Good morning baby" he kisses me
"Good morning" I smile at him
"who was that?"
"Steph's sister, sydel"
"Y'all friends now?"
"Yeah"
"Das good"
"Yeah"
He sits next to me.
"Baby?"
"Hmm?"
"I want us to have a baby"
"Devin, I'm not ready"
"Okay ma"
"Devin?"
"Yes?"
"you good?"
"yeah it's like you don't want a kid and I-"
"baby stop. I do want us to have kids but we are too busy"
"right"
"I have to fly out to San Francisco tomorrow. They have a game."
"I'll come with"
"Baby you have to practice for the game on Monday"
"Okay" he gets up and I grab his hand.
"Hey, you have nothing to worry about. We are just friends"
"I know"
"Let's eat" we walk to the kitchen and eat breakfast.

My phone rings.
"Hello?"
"Yes this is she. Whose this?" I look at Devin.
"Look bitch, don't call me again"
I hang up and slam my phone.
"Who was that?"
"No one. Don't worry about it"
I glance at him and look away. God I can't even look at him.
"I I'm going to shower. Don't follow me" I grab my phone and go to my room.
I lock my door and call my dad.
"Hello?"
"Pa"
"What happened?"
