I kept my eyes closed when I finally woke up, not ready yet to meet the morning sun slipping through the holes in the fabric all around us. I was warm, well extremely warm. I realized I still had the hoodie on my body.
I heard a voice beside me, it sounded like Harry but his voice was raspier than usual "hey, you're awake!"
I groaned in response "no I'm not. Just let me sleep for another second."
He chuckled "what about 'I'll make sure Harry wakes up or I'll drag him there by myself' plan? Huh? Look how the tables have been turned now. How about that baby." He mimicked my voice while quoting me.
This time, I opened my eyes to meet his emerald ones. He was on his side plopped up on his elbow. A blank look on my face while he had this bloody smirk on his "FYI, I do not sound like that. I'm warning you, I will drag you there by myself."
He shook his head snickering to himself "sure you will baby."
I rolled my eyes at him before I asked "what time is it anyway?"
He answered "8:30 AM. Meeting is at nine sharp."
I groaned again, rubbing my eyes with my hand while yawning "should we really go to that meeting? I hate meetings."
He shook his head "we need to be there Pam. The meeting is important. You really don't wanna miss it."
I sat up straight before I turned to look down at Harry "fine. But I'm not walking, my ankle is trying to kill me."
He nodded once "alright then. You're new clothes are right there ready for you to hop right into them, I'll wait for you outside to give you privacy, but if you need anything just call my name and I'll come in. Okay?"
I gave him a warm smile while I watched him exit "yeah, okay."
Once he was out of sight, I turned around to find the clothes just behind me. I managed to undress, but it was hard getting the damn hoodie out of my injured arm. Once the hoodie was off, I also took off my T-shirt which I wore yesterday after I got the one before it smeared with blood. Now only in a bra, I grabbed the white shirt and tossed over my head. Luckily, I managed to get my arm inside easily since it was a lace top with thin straps. I took off my shorts and replaced them with clean gray ones that reached to my mid-thigh. I slipped on my converse slowly because my ankle was hurting badly. After that, I grabbed the bag I once had with me when the first incident with Harry occurred in the train and pulled out a hair brush and brushed my hair blindly because there were no mirrors. I always kept extra clothes and private stuff in this bag for emergencies, and this was my emergency.
When I was finally finished washing my mouth and spitting into the built-in sink, I limped out of the tent to meet Harry still standing there with the wheelchair by his side. He was wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and a brown bandanna on his head to keep his hair from falling into his face. The tattoos on his arms were showing clearly in the daylight. His green eyes so bright. He looked so freaking hot.
I watched his hand as it reached out for me "come on, we don't wanna be late."
He guided me to the wheelchair before I sat on it and he started walking towards what Louis called the bonfire. I think it's like where the huge fire would be flaming its burning tongues without touching anything around it, like the ones in college parties which I only read about in books.
People were everywhere gathered in a huge crowd. Niall was standing on the top of an enormous red rock with a microphone in his hand. Well, a bonfire is a huge rock for them I guess.
Niall began, his Irish accent visible in his soft voice "alright everyone, my name is Niall Horan for those who still don't know me. I'm the chief of The Runaways for this week."
