It happened so fast, I didn't really get a chance to understand what was going on vividly. It actually felt like I was watching a movie and I couldn't feel anything.
The train was stopping gradually, the electricity must have turned off or something because this train never stops, it was odd.
I looked at my other side away from the window, as I stood up, realizing that everyone was doing the same, with the same confused look plastered on their faces. Well, except for this curly headed man who sat in front of me. He seemed so...calm in a situation like this. We haven't actually talked but I'd feel his emerald pale green eyes watching me from time to time, making me nervous for that matter. He was wearing a white shirt under his black coat and a pair of washed jeans which all fit him perfectly.
Anyway, as I said before, I can't remember any of it, only small parts, and this is what I remember; The train started rocking fiercely left and right and I could feel the underwater current hitting its sides, until that last one shocking wave that pushed it off its trail.
I snapped out of my detached watching status when I heard screams and cries of which I couldn't understand a word. I was thrown to the side hitting the same window I was once looking out from, only to be squashed like a cockroach when piles of people fell over me. I felt like I was suffocating, the air being knocked out of my lungs as I tried to scream for my life at the people to get off me, but there was no sound coming out of my mouth and I thought this is where I was going to die.
Over the comotion and the screams, I heard water flowing from above since the train is now sinking on its left side where I was sitting before, and the tunnel must have been definitely broken from the first wave before the train started that rocking movement.
I started feeling dizzy and I was about to puke out the bag of chips I had before I boarded the train with what's inside my stomach. My eyes started to blur as I felt the glass starting to break under my palms.
That's when I felt a pair of large strong hands grasping me by my right shoulder and the other one hooked up with the belt of my jeans pulling me out of the insane screaming people. Watching them with stinging eyes as they broke the glass with the water that started flooding in so quickly, I held tightly to a strong chest as the water poured from everywhere like a flooded river sweeping my consciousness with it.
