"Assassin, Killer, Murder," they whisper in the darkness. "Why didn't you tell us?" Dinozzo says. McGee adds in, "what more are you hiding?" And Abbey finishes, " This time we put the lights out on you!" I scream and wake up. Looking around my apartment I walk into the bathroom and wash my hair out putting in blue dye. I remember words that spilled out. The graduation ceremony. Memories flood back words and names like Blue Jay, Red Room, Hawkeye. And the two that daunt me most Traitor and Romanov. The mission I changed sides, the one where she took me in. I peer into Dinozzo's head. A brown hair girl says, "I thought I'd die before I heard tha-." A bullet hit her square in the head, " Kate!" Dinozzo yells and then wakes up. Jolting back i step into the kitchen and pour some cereal. How can anyone live through so much pain?
