Soon the bell rang and we headed off to charms class. Indu and I sat next to each other in class and a Slytherin I didn't know sat on my other side.

Class went by slowly, it was mostly a lecture on what we were going to be learning this year and some stuff about safety. Towards the end of class the Slytherin boy who was sitting next to me decided to try and talk to me.

"Hey aren't you Circe Riddle?" He asked

"Yes, why do you want to know?" I asked

"Your brothers said something about their sister being sorted into Ravenclaw and you have similarities in looks to them"

"So... what's it to you?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to know. I'm Hunter"

"Ok... I didn't ask"

"You sure you were put in the right house, you seem like a Slytherin?"

"I got put into Ravenclaw"

"You're a Riddle who is a Slytherclaw"

"It's actually Ravenin since I am in Ravenclaw and Slytherin is my second house"

The bell rang and homework was given out. I rushed out of class with Indu.

"I have a free period then after lunch I have DADA and potions" I informed her

"Oh I have DADA now then after lunch I have History of magic and we will have potions together"

"Great, see you at lunch" She walked away and I was alone for the first time at Hogwarts, no one was around me"

"Hello sister" I heard from behind me, I wasn't alone anymore apparently. I sighed and turned around to see Mattheo and two other boys. One of them was the one that was looking at me at the train station.

"What do you want?" I asked, annoyed. I only realized how harsh it sounded after it came out of my mouth.

"I just wanted to ask you how you got into Ravenclaw of all houses"

I blinked a couple times and wondered if he was joking or just that dumb "Well if you take 100% divided it by four you get 4 25% for the four houses. I definitely wasn't going to be a Hufflepuff so you can take that out and I don't think I would be a Gryffindor so that leaves a 50-50% for Slytherin and Ravenclaw, granted I read half of the day, I could do magic and control it before I had a wand and started at Hogwarts, and because of this whole explanation I think you can take a guess at why I got Ravenclaw and not Slytherin"

He remained quiet for a second "Did you just come up with that on the spot or did you rehearse it"

"Oh yes of course I rehearsed it, like I knew you were going to ask me this exact question" I replied sarcastically then whacked him on the head with a book I was holding "Get a brain, no, I didn't rehearse this, I can talk, I'm smart, and I can think quick. Put them all together" I knew I was embarrassing him in front of his friends and it was kinda fun. "Now if you can excuse me, I am leaving so that I can move on with my day"

"Don't leave, I need your help" I saw his hand go to grab his wand

With a flick of my wrist the wand was floating in the air, just outside his reach "Yeah, no" I shook my head "we aren't doing this today" I walked away and when I was far enough away, Mattheo's wand fell to the ground.

I made my way to the library and sat down at one of the tables. Since I had nothing to do and it was quiet here, I decided to start on my homework. The homework for charms had just been to read a couple pages in the textbook and practice a spell we learned in class. I could do the spell without a wand, I could make things float without a wand just like I had done earlier.

A person came and sat down across from me while I was reading. I looked up and it was the boy who was with Mattheo, the same one who looked at me at the train station "Can I help you?" I asked looking around the library

"I'm Theodore Nott, I just wanted to warn you your brother is really angry right now, it's kinda hilarious honestly but how did you do wandless magic on your first day of Hogwarts?"

"I can't exactly do wandless magic, I mean I can do some things, very few things without a wand but I don't know, I have been able to make things float for years now"

"That's really cool"

I sighed and looked up, my hands clasped and rested on the table "Ok, skip to what you really want to say because I know you have your wand pointed at me under the table, now I can take it from you or you can explain, otherwise there are many books in here to hit you with"

"You go straight to violence"

"It's the only way I have ever been able to get what I want from my brothers"

"Ok, fine. Basically Mattheo needs your help breaking into somewhere without being noticed and he thinks you can help him"
