Bloody Fists
chapter six

Davina slumped against the back wall at the dojo
with her school bag beside her when johnny had stepped out of his office. Immediatelyyelling at the new students.

He walked between the students, who stood on the mat in random lines and positions, judging their every look. Davina almost laughed when the older man insulted demetri's pi shirt, careful to hold herself back in case the man believed she thought he was funny. (She did, she would admit it though)

"when i look around this dojo, i don't see cobra kai material. i see losers, i see nerds. i see a fat kid with a funny hat with his tits popping out. . . but in my short time as a sensei. i've also seen some miracles. so, maybe there's some hope for you. but first i need to see where you're at. so, everybody. fall in" johnny finished his speech, glaring at his students when noticing they didn't understand the words falling out of his mouth.

"that means line up" johnny explained

a strand of 'ok's' came from the groups, as they began to shift themselves towards Miguel and Aisha. making two lines behind the two students in white gi's.

"no. not line up in a line. lines." johnny stammered, obviously confused on the lack of knowledge these random kids have "get in lines"

"you mean like rows?" demetri asked, popping his head out front the line he was in.

johnny groaned, covering his face.

Davina smiled at his frustration, she pulled out her phone, playing subway surfers.

"fighting positions" sensei johnny yelled at the class, the position was a simple two raised fist, one behind the other. "jab punch. . . hiyah." He instructed, the kids quickly understood and followed in pursuit.

johnny walked around, continuing to yell 'hiyah' as he watched the teenagers punch the air. he stopped in front of Davina, his shadow casting over her phone. causing her to lift her gaze up to the older man.

"do you mind dude?"

"dude" johnny mocked "why are you playing on those cell blocks, it's a dojo, not a place for your free internet."

"A cell block? Were you born in the eighteen century? Its a phone, and this place does not have free Wi-Fi. That's why I'm on a no internet game?" Davina relied "I also don't want to watch these losers be bad at everything, though he is funny" she pointed at Demetri

johnny furrowed his eyebrows "but watching people struggle is the best."

Davina shrugged "normally, but no one's really standing out to me. All the gling on is your failed attempts to get these idiots to understand the simiplist things."

"oh please, you couldn't last a day in karate" johnny scoffed.

"i could so, i've watched kung-fu panda" Davina remarked, dropping her phone she lifted her hands up into a fighting position.

Johnny crossed his arms "so, i'm being paid for you to sit in the corner of my class. . . and play games?"

Davina nodded her head "it's not rocket science lolo."
