I kept to myself when everyone showed up to Troy's room. I couldnt bring myself to have anybody in mine. Troy handed me a drink as he turned up the music from his phone on the speaker. Austin sat by the window, Katie talking his ear off. I tried not to listen but even with the pinky promise my anxiety couldnt handle it.
"Hey bestie. You good"? Troy asked, this time sitting next to me. My eyes never left Katie and Austin. I nodded.
"I'd say otherwise". He chuckled. I rolled my eyes at him, bringing myself to the conversation.
I wouldnt feel so guilty if I'd actually heard from Alex, but I haven't. He never leaves his house unless it's to come to me. He couldnt be busy. I made myself get up off the couch to make another drink. I needed to think of something else. I stood at the counter, debating if I wanted something strong. Katie walked up next to me smiling.
"Have fun with your new friend"? I laughed.
She nodded, and gave me a smile.
"What"? I groaned.
"Oh nothing. Just got finished talking to Mr. Dark and mysterious over there, he moved my hair behind my ear". She smiled.
She continued to smile as she handed me a shot glass of something clear. I waited for her to say something. Now the suspense was killing me.
"Wanna take a shot with your bestfriend"? She asked.
I sighed, holding the shot glass. She clapped and turned to everyone. "Body shots"! And my face fell.
"W-what, no". I begged but Troy walked over grabbing a lime.
"Whose first"? He asked and Katie smiled again. I'm starting to hate her smile.
"Troy you can go first". And with that she grabbed the salt packets off the coffee tray.
Troy laid on the counter, Katie clapping above him. I shook my head and poured myself a drink. Cant go wrong with mixed. As I screwed the lid on I felt someone standing behind me. Austin held his cup out for me to pour some for him.
"Okay go"! Katie yelled and bent down to take a shot off Troy's stomach. Grabbing the lime once she was done. "Shit! I forgot the salt"! She said and did it again, causing Troy to laugh, spilling what she already poured. They were clearly in their own world.
Katie soon ran over to me and gave me a kiss as she laughed. I'm glad she was having fun. "Quick, let's take a picture"! She yelled and grabbed her phone. She handed it to Austin as he took it, laughing at us in the process.

Once she walked off I turned to Austin and smiled. "I'm gonna make you a drink". I said, trying to ease some of the tension. He stepped back as I did my magic.
I grabbed some Sprite off the counter and poured a bit into Austin's drink. He scrunched his face at it as I handed it to him.
