Chapter 5: Young and... not really free (I'm lazy okay.)

2-3 weeks later...

Jolteon is sitting in bed with Sunshine in his arms. Es: "She's so adorable." J: "You got that right." Es: "Say, I know I'm not really supposed to ask this, but does anyone else know you're a fallen champion?" J: "I think Sylveon and Glace-. Wait, fallen? Please don't tell me I missed a tournament..." Es: "Yeah, there was a big one last week." J: "Oh boy... Alex is going to kill me..." Es: "Alex? Who is that?" J: "The third champion?" Es: "I thought that was Plasma?" J: "Well yes, but Plasma is his nickname, Alex is his real name." Es: "Huh." (Also, I forgot what Pearl said about the rescuer and explorer guild combining, or something like that. So just pretend she said that.) J: "Oh, I missed a lot..." Es: "Yeah..." J: "So um... How are you with... Umbreon?" She sighs. Es: "Not great... I mean, I try, and try to get him to like me. But, I feel like I'm just going in a loop." She starts to tear up a little. Es: "I mean, I keep on hurting, and annoying him... Why should I continue if I can't have him?!" J: "Hey, Glaceon hurts me all the time, but I don't find it annoying, in fact, I actually find her being mad, kind of cute." Es: "Really?" J: "Mhm. So, I'm sure the same could apply to you." Es: "Hey, Speed?" J: "Yeah?" Espeon gives him a quick kiss on the lips and then pulls away. J: "Wha-. Espy?" Es: "Sorry about that. Also, about the vacation tomorrow. My aunt and uncle paid for all of us, so no need to worry about it." J: "U-Um... Okay?"

The next day...

Glaceon zips up her backpack. G: "All set." L: "Is everyone here?" S: "I think Speed is still sleeping." G: "That lazy head..." S: "So, why don't you... Wake him up~?" G: "U-Uh... W-Why...?" S: "If you don't, I will." G: "O-Okay...! I-I'll wake him up." She hurries upstairs.

Outside his room...

G: "Okay... Just go in there... And wake him up... No problem..." She opens the door to see Jolteon sleeping. She walks up to his bed and pokes him. G: "Wake up." He obviously does not wake up. G: "Okay. I see how it is." She clears her throat. G: "WAKE UPPPPP!" Jolteon stills stays asleep. G: "Oh boy." She notices his bag on the ground and picks it up. Then, she grabs him by the paws and drags him down the stairs.

Downstairs...

S: "No way, really?" L: "Mhm." Jolteon suddenly gets thrown in front of them. L: "Really sis?" G: "What? He didn't wake up." She says while dusting her paws, the kind to signal completion. J: "Ow... What did I do?" G: "Everything, here." She throws the bag at him, and it hits him in the head. Leafeon looks at Flare, and he seems unsteady. L: "Hey, are you okay?" F: "Yeah... Just a bit nervous, I mean. We're going on a ship!" L: "Hehe, yeah." S: "Can we go now?" J: "Whatever." They all walk out the house, and they are on the path to the dock. J: "Man, is this day perfect, or what?" G: "Um, I guess you could say that." L: "So um... I think it's about time we all get to know each other better? What do you all say?" Every: "Alright." L: "Okay, so I'll start. You already know my name is Leaf, I like gardening, nature, and just really anything to do with plants." C: "My name is Crystal! I'd prefer it if you'd call me Vaporeon though. I like water, and I like playing pranks on my dearest brother." J: "Hey..." She giggles. J: "Ahem, anyway. My name is Speed, I also like gardening, I like running, and I HATE IT when Vaporeon does pranks on me." She sticks out her tongue and pulls down on one side of her face. F: "My name is Solarflare, you can call me Flare for short. I also like gardening, and I hate water." L: "My name is Lazuli, I like books and ice cream." S: "And my name is Silvia! Speedy's girlfriend!" G: "Oh... WAIT!" She turns to Speed. G: "Explain this!" She says while holding up her fist. J: "W-Wait! I-It's not what it looks like!" S: "Awe, c'mon. I'm just joking around." G: "Tsh, you could of said that earlier... Also, Speed?" J: "What's up?" G: "I think I remember that Silvia's brother called you something... What was it... Like... Yellow... Yell-." S: "Yellow Flash?" G: "Yeah, that one." S: "Well, that's because he was a cha-mdpwpi." She gets cut off by Jolteon covering her mouth and pulling her back. J: "Silvia, I think it's better off if they didn't know... Sorry by the way." S: "Alright, and it's okay." Suddenly, a beam of ice flies towards them, which he dodges. J: "What the...?" G: "What the heck are you trying to do to her?!" She says while walking up to him. J: "N-Nothing! My uh... leg... slipped?" G: "Slipped?! You call that slipped?!" She tries to punch him but he moves out the way. G: "Wha...? Hey! Why did you dodge?!" J: "I-I'm sorry... I d-didn't mean to..." L: "Woah, did you see how fast he moved?" F: "Yeah, it's weird though. Big bro doesn't normally dodge..."  G: "Why didn't you let me hit you?!" J: "I-I'm sorry! Y-You can hit me again if you want..." G: "No, whatever. I didn't care anyway. Hpmh!" She says throwing her head forward and walking. S: "Why is she mad at you?" J: "Because I dodged... I didn't mean to!" S: "Why would she be mad at you for that?" J: "Cause she's so used to hitting me, I guess?" S: "Well that doesn't really seem like girlfriend material." J: "Say, what?" S: "I-I mean... Let's keep walking!" She says hurriedly walking. J: "Hm." He walks after her. F: "Our families are weird." L: "Yeah. You could say that again." Leaf and Flare chuckle a little and follow them.

After walking to the... mall...? (I don't know where they went, that's what it looked like...)

L: "There's a lot of pokemon here." F: "Yeah..." L: "Hey Silvia?" S: "Yup?" L: "What were you going to tell us earlier?" S: "Wh-. Oh, yeah. His name is Yellow Flash because he was a champion." G: "You were a champion?" Jolteon sighs. J: "Yes... Yes I was..." G: "Wow! That's so uncool. Like nobody cares." J: "Wait what?" G: "You heard me." J: "Um... okay.." Suddenly all of them stop, aside from Glaceon. G: "What... What happened? Why did you all st-?" (Oh my, I just realized that the adults are all the same species at the kids...) V: "Hey! You're finally here!" Ee: "Daddy!" She jumps at Jolteon and hugs him. U2.0 (yup umbreon 2.0, that's my solution.): "You have a daughter?" J: "Well, kind of. I adopted her." U2.0: "Ah." U: "You!" Jolteon turns to Black. U: "Everything that he says proves it! You're Speedy!" J: "Wait, before you say anything else... I'm sorry..." U: "Sorry? Sorry?! Do you think sorry is going to fix anything?!" U2.0: "Hey, hey! You two, stop fighting! You're scary the little girl." Sunshine looks at them with tears in her eyes. U: "Whatever." He rolls his eyes and walks somewhere else. Speed goes over to consult Sunshine. L: "What was that about?" L: "I don't know..." Es: "I-I'm going to take a quick walk..." She walks off. Es: "This family really is a-." Shee (Nvm, Shee is shiny eevee, aka Axel, no ev2.0): "Cousin Pearl!" Pearl gets tackled by a shiny Axel. Es: "Oh, Axel! Where are your parents?" ShJo: "We're right here." Es: "Aunty! Uncle!" She says while hugging them. ShVa: "Where are the others?" Es: "Oh, come follow me!" She walks to everyone else and they greet one another. Es: "Have my parents arrived yet?" J: "No, I don't think so. Are they shiny?" Es: "No. Have you not met them before?" J: "I don't think so..." L2.0: "Hey y'all! We're here!" Pearl runs to them and hugs them. Es: "Mom and dad!" F2.0: "Hi Sweetie!" Es: "Hey mom?" F2.0: "Yes?" Es: "Where's Ms.Mollie?" (I'm not writing F3.0...... Fine) F3.0: "I'm here." Pearl also hugs her.


Okay, we're at 1380 words, do I make a really long chapter? Or split it? Hm... I think I'll split it, but I am going to complete chapter 5, don't worry. Anyway, this chapter was pretty quick to write, and hopefully the name issue won't be too bad. If it does, I might start using the character's name instead of their species name, but I don't know.
