Eeveelution Squad Rewritten

Spec. Chapter 9

Hey It's been a while, hasn't it? Haha, maybe I'll continue to post more? I don't know, but I felt like continuing, so let's go.


The Next Day...


Silvia carefully places a bow on Sunshine's forehead. S: "Anddd... There! Look at you! Super cute!" Sunshine looks at  Silvia lightly with sparkles in her eyes. Ee: "Thank you so much Big-Sis Sylveon!" She says excitedly as she jumps at her and gives her a big hug. S: "Hehe, no problem sweetie! But I did only put a bow on you." Glaceon who was walking behind them, stops abruptly. G: "Since when did you call her sweetie?" Sylveon turns around to face Glaceon. S: "Oh, well it's just a cute way to call her." Eevee agrees excitedly. Ee: "Aye!" Silvia then turns to face Sunshine. S: "Anyway, you should thank Leafeon, she got me the bow." She says as she gives her a light pat on the head. Ee: "Okay!" Eevee races off to find Leaf. Lazuli watches them, but eventually just shrugs, then moves on.

Ee: "Thank you Big-Sis Leafeon!" Eevee barks excitedly when she reaches Leafeon. Leafeon in response, doesn't move and seemingly ignores her. Ee: "Uh, Big-Sis Leafeon?" Sunshine calls out to her again a little concerned. Leafeon suddenly snaps out of her trance and looks at her. L: "Huh? Did you want something?" Eevee looks at her with her head tilted, but replies happily nonetheless. Ee: "Thanks for the bow!" L: "Oh, yeah of course. You're welcome." 

Glaceon also notices there's something off about Leaf, so she walks over. G: "Leafy. Are you alright? You've seemed upset since yesterday..." Leaf looks over slowly. L: "Mhm... Just tired is all." G: "C'mon, I've known you for 15 years. I know something is up." L: "It's nothing, really." From a couple feet away, Pearl talks with Silvia. Es: "So why did you and Lazuli punch Speed yesterday?" S: "It's not our fault... He deserved it!" Eevee butts in curiously. Ee: "What did Daddy do to you and Big-Sis Glaceon?" S: "He insulted us." Eevee looks surprised but doesn't say anything. G: "Well, it was still our fault. We did kind of react kind of harshly." S: "Well c'mon, it was justified!" 

Just then, Vaporeon pops out the shower and proclaims. V: "Woo! Shower, is, hot!" Es: "About time, you've been in there for an hour." V: "Ey, well. We still have plenty of time left right?" Espeon makes a mixed face. Es: "We have 30 minutes, before we head out, which isn't a great deal of time." V: "Oh, well, whatever. It's still enough time."

While that discussion is happening, another one is. 

G: "C'mon sis. I know for sure it's more than that. You seem really sad." Vaporeon decides to butt in. V: "Yeah Leafy, don't be Umbreon 2.0. If you're sad, you can tell us. We're all family." Glaceon quickly looks at her, and looks back at Leafy, and nods. S: "Umbreon 2.0?" V: "I thought it was a good comparison." Lazuli still looks at Leaf with worry. G: "Please, sis. Tell me." Leaf stays quiet for a second, then talks again. L: "If I ask you to apologize to someone, can you do it?" G: "Of course, who?" L: "Our Da--... I mean, that would be yourself. You've been too hard on yourself, and putting too much pressure." Lazuli looks at her with a little bit of confusion on her face, but quickly shakes it off. G: "I'll keep that in mind, don't worry." Pearl looks over them while pondering on something. V: "Such a moody morning." Silvia nods in agreeance. 

After they say that, Speed and Axel suddenly walk into the room. 

EA (Eevee, Axel): "Hello! Are you all ready yet?" Axel asks excitedly. After noticing them, Sunshine quickly runs up to both of them. Ee: "Aye!" After seeing her, Axel can't help but compliment her. EA: "Sunshine, you're so cute!" Ee: "I am?" J: "I see you're wearing your red bow again." Ee: "Mhm, Big-Sis Sylveon put it on for me." As he looks over at Sylveon and Vaporeon, Sylveon gives him a wave. He waves back. Flare also is magically in the room and walks up to Leaf. L: "Morning Flare." F: "Are you okay?" L: "I'm good, I guess." F: "You guess?" L: "I don't know, I have a lot on my mind." F: "Oh, well if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask." L: "Having you here is enough for me." Glaceon also walks up to Leaf. G: "Leafy, let us help you." L: "I told you already, I'm fine." J: "C'mon Leafeon, you know Glaceon and Flareon are only trying to help." L: "I know, I'm sorry." Espeon also butts in. Es: "No need to apologize, just know we're always here for you." S: "Mhm!" V: "Totally!" Ee: "Aye!" Sunshine runs up to Leafeon and gives her a hug. Ee: "Hug!" L: "Okay, okay Sunshine. That's enough." She says with a smile. L: "Thanks, all of you." She announces to everyone as she smiles. Ee: "Yay, you smiled!" Axel watches from the background and says. EA: "Aw." 

Glaceon walks up and sits down next to Axel. They both look at Leaf and Flare cuddle with each other. G: "So, how are you doing little guy?" She says trying to strike up a conversation. EA: "I'm fine, Thanks for asking." They both sit for a second, before Axel keeps talking. EA: "Big-Sis Leafeon is very nice." G: "That she is. Nothing like me though." He looks at her with a smile on his face. EA: "That's not true! You're also very beautiful and sweet." Glaceon eases her gaze somewhere along a far away wall. G: "You don't know that, you haven't seen what I done." EA: "So what? I don't care how bad people, or yourself, think you are. It's not what you did, it's what you do now that counts." G: "Hm, well. You can't get rid of the past. Especially if you regret something you do basically every day." EA: "Well, living in past regret will only make you feel worse about yourself. Don't dwindle on what you did yesterday, or the day before that. Focus on what you're going to do today, or tomorrow." Jolteon walks up to them and invites himself to the conversation. J: "He's right you know. There's always room to improve. To be fair, I'm never really mad when you hit me, well at least after the fact." G: "Hm... Okay... I'll keep what you guys said in mind." 

S: "I'm going to check on my big brother now. He's downstairs right?" J: "I think so, him and Black weren't in the room when we woke up." S: "Okay~. See you later~!" She says as she walks off. Vaporeon slides over to Jolteon, and kinda whispers to him, but loud enough that Glaceon and Axel can hear her. V: "Sooo. Sylveon is like, super cute, am I right?" J: "Why are you asking me?" V: "Oh, you know." G: "Hey! What about me?" V: "Why, are you jealous?" Glaceon starts to blush a little. G: "N-No...!" V: "Then why are you asking?" G: "Um... Because... I-." J: "Okay, okay. That's enough, stop bickering you two, we have somewhere to be." G: "Y-Yeah. Crystal." Vaporeon rolls her eyes.

Later... 

Sylveon, Jolteon, Glaceon, Umbreon, Other Umbreon, and Espeon are all bickering at each other because Umbreon doesn't like Jolteon or whatever. However on the other table, it's a lot more calm. L: "I wonder what's going on over there..." F: "I think Umbreon is mad at big bro still." Vaporeon listens to them talk and adds on to their conversation. V: "Now that you say that... Why is Umbreon mad at Jolteon? Did they know each other from before? If they do, how did they meet...? I have so many questions!" They all sit in silence for a good couple seconds then Vaporeon starts up again. V: "Jolteon is hiding something from us, I know he is!" F: "Sis, you're acting weird..." V: "That's the thing, I'm always weird." F: "Yeah, that's what's pretty cute about you." V: "You called me cute?" She says while looking at him. F: "Eh, I knew you wouldn't believe me." She leans over into Flareon. V: "Aw. You'll always be my favorite little bro." Flareon leans back in confusion and stares at her. V: "What's wrong?" F: "Nothing... You've just never called me brother, or bro, before." FM (Flareon, Mollie): "I've been wondering. If my kids were here. I'm sure they'd be just like you two." V: "I'm sure they would Mrs. Mollie. I'm sure they would be great Pokémon." She then asks Flare. V: "That's her name right?" She whispers. F: "Mhm." FM: "..." 

L: "Hey Crystal?" She calls for Vaporeon from a couple chairs over. V: "What's up Leaf?" L: "Do you think you could help my sister become a little more... Nice? She's really trying, but I think she needs someone to support her." V: "Sure! Sounds like an excuse to hang out with her." Leaf smiles lightly. L: "Thank you." F: "How about  you? I think you  need someone to cheer you up." L: "Don't worry, I'll be a-okay." She says trying to reassure Flare. FM: "If you both don't mind, I wouldn't mind spending time with you both." F: "Sure! I don't mind!" L: "I guess so, thanks Mrs.Mollie." FM: "Great! I'd love to get to know both of you more!"
Later...

Lazuli, Sunshine, and Axel sit in front of a short wall looking at some rocks in the nearby distance. Ee and EA: "Wow..." They both mutter in amazement. Crystal, Speed, and Frank are all walking together. V: "It's just some stupid old rocks, what's so interesting about them?" Vaporeon whines. J: "Well, what's interesting is how they were made, who made them, how they still stand, and the story behind them." V: "Blah, Blah, Blah when did you become a geologist or whatever?" J: "It's not about being a geologist, it's just cool to see." Frank examines a tall statue for a second, then turns to them. GF: "Do you know what Pokémon these is?" Frank refers to multiple statutes depicting  the gods of space, time, the distortion world, and I guess just everything . V: "Nope..." She says while seeming pretty bored. GF: "Well, this one is Giratina, in it's altered form, next is Dialga, next to that is Palkia, and finally is Arceus, aka the Original One." J: "Palkia...? Seems familiar... I think my friend said something about a Primal Palkia?" GF: "I see, alright then, allow me to explain the stories of each one." Vaporeon and Sylveon whine and complain about how boring it'll be. G: "Ooh, do tell." They both turn to Glaceon. V: "Why do you wanna know?" G: "I dunno, it seems interesting." V: "Course you do..." G: "Eh?" 

Meanwhile...

Leaf and Flare looks off the edge of a cliff, that has a little wall to prevent you from falling off. F: "Leaf?" She turns to him slowly. L: "Yeah Flare?" F: "Well... I have something I want to tell you..." Flare looks a bit nervous, but Leaf is curious to hear it. L: "What's up?" F: "Well, I-" Pearl walks over to them and calls out to Leaf. Es: "Leaf?" Leafeon turns slowly to Pearl. L: "Yes?" Es: "Back at the beach house, were you really okay?" L: "Well..." Es: "I guess you still miss your dad?" Leaf looks a bit shocked. L: "You... Know?" Pearl looks a bit guilty as she lightly scratches the back of her head. Es: "Yeah... Haha, sorry, I read your mind." L: "Oh, it's alright. I do want to see him again, but at the same time I'm scared..." Pearl lays her head on the wall, and puts her arms under her head. L: "He said he'd never want to see us again..." Es: "Hm, maybe at this point in time it'll be different? Who knows? He might of changed his ways?" Leaf seems to ponder, but soon has a slight smile. L: "Yeah, you're probably right, I worry too much." Pearl also smiles. Es: "No worries! We've all been there." Pearl pears over to Flare. Es: "Right Flare?" Flare was zoning out a little, and quickly regained his train of thought. F: "H-Huh? Y-Yeah." Es: "You've been a bit quiet over there." Flare looks a bit sad. F: "Yeah... I know... It's just..." Es: "I can tell you really care about her, even if you don't explicitly say so." F: "I..." Leaf smiles again lightly. L: "It's okay, I know you do, and I really appreciate it." Es: "So... What are you going to do now?" L: "Hm, I suppose I'll get back to the beach house and think it through. Weigh out my options, and probably talk to my sister about it." Espeon seems a bit worried. Es: "Doesn't Lazuli not like your dad?" L: "That's true, but, I'd like to at least talk to her." Es: "Fair enough."
