Chapter Three - The Diary of a Maid.

After the events of the Mysterious Gem being stolen by the Entity of Hekseville, Alias, The two had gone to find more information as to the world they now inhabited with many others, hearing quite a lot of info for themselves. While their search had proved to be quite fruitful, there was just one thing that had concerned Raiko, which wasn't his identity, but something that would prove to be a problem in the long run.

Aside from several occasions, Raiko hadn't truly figured out how to master his power. Kat had figured how quite a lot about her power in just a day, being able to slide across the ground and even attack her enemies at a quick speed with the help of Inertia formed by her unnatural force of gravity.
Aside from an occasional blast of lightning whenever he's fighting against Nevi, he's never found a way to control it at his own will, bringing him to a disadvantage with not only Kat traversing the two through the town, but even handling most of the fighting with larger Nevi.

Luckily, Kat had noticed that he'd gone into a moment of thought, more than likely due to his saddened expression, as well as him avoiding eye contact with her now and then. As much as she wanted to find the ask, she didn't want to push any further, granted there wasn't much she could recommend for helping with discovering the extent of his abilities.

"Hey, so... What you did back there, with that guy in the white suit..." Kat mentions, with hopes that it'd draw his focus from his stupor. Luckily it worked, with Raiko recalling him shoving the white-suited individual.

"The guy was going to arrest you with just a whim. We did unknowingly help Alias with the Gem, but..." Raiko trails off.

"Yeah, but you didn't have to shove him, ya' know. I could've handled him myself if it would've gotten that bad." She giggled, with him looking away bashfully.

"I know, I know... What's done is done." Raiko stated, noticing that his face had grown a small blush. noticing his embarrassed expression, she couldn't help but think that it was rather cute...

But no, maybe she was just letting his new expression get to her for a moment... Was it...?

"Whaddaya know! I'm standing here just like she told me to and boom, a cute girl appears!" A voice had exclaimed with a beaming tone. Turning to their left, Raiko and Kat had seen a blonde male grinning at the Gravity Queen, indicating that his words were directed to her.

"Huh?" Raiko's head tilted, confused at just what he was talking about.

"Cute girl? ...Me? And what fortune teller?" Kat said with a blush across her face, her hands habitually resting on her chest. Noticeably, her heart had begun to beat a bit quicker than usual, as she heard those words, which were rather new to her. For Raiko, It was his first time seeing it, but Kat seemed like quite the hopeless romantic, as she was already head over heels by just a few short words.

"Man, that Fortune Teller was right! Although, I was hoping for someone a little fairer, like a princess or something... Maybe I'll try my luck at Pandora's fortunes again."The guy continued, causing Kat's blush to disappear instantly.

"Wh-WHAT?! Well, you're not so hot yourself, buddy!" Kat yelled, walking towards him as she intended on telling him off.

Before she could place a finger on him, Raiko ended up grabbing her arm and walking the other way. "Alright, Alright, we got out of the way of the cops a while ago. No need to deal with them again." He stated as she continued to call him words that are pretty surprising for her to remember as an amnesiac.

"You're TOAST, you HEAR ME?! I WILL END YOU!"
