After establishing their bond, the two amnesiacs heard a surge of information on the mysterious older man they'd encountered before, differentiating from stealing garbage from people's trashcans to claiming he was the world's Creator. They could only look unamused since there could only be one idea of who the people of Hekseville were referring to.
Eventually, they found the old man, surrounded by many people as he looked onward from a ledge. One could guess that the rest of this road once was connected to another but was scattered across the realm they now know.
Standing next to the old man, the two were confused. Why was everyone staring ahead?
"Hey, old man, what's everyone staring at?" Kat asked, shifting her attention as the man faced the two.
"The universe ripped their families and homes away. They're all waiting for the day the universe returns what it has taken from them." The man explains the cries of both mothers and even children growing around them. Next to the tears was a man who didn't take his eyes off the photo in his hands; a photo containing the once happy memory of a father with his wife and daughter.
Kat seemed heartbroken from hearing this and hearing the cries of many others, but Raiko hadn't made a noticeable expression until his fist was clenched tightly. These were people who'd lost those that were dear, their homes, and so much more than could ever be explained. He was pissed.
"...You're the Creator of this world, right? Tell me if they'll ever get them back." Raiko looks at him, stepping up to the older man with a look of resoluteness.
"Well, that would depend on you two." He says as the both of them look at him with confusion. The man had noticed, thus granting them an explanation.
"The door to a new world is about to open. Beyond it lies the truth about your power. As for you, the path you truly wish to pace upon is only so far as your willingness to save this world will take you." The man explains, placing a hand upon the two's shoulders.
"...I don't get it. What door?" Kat asks as Raiko recalls his words and connects them to Pandora's.
"...Willingness to protect Hekseville..."
"...Will you two help them?" The man asks as Kat stands behind Raiko in concern.
Raiko didn't even hesitate, answering with a nod. "Yeah. You with me?" Raiko looked at Kat, resulting in her eyes widening. But taking a moment to recall her promise, she nods as well.
"How would we know where their families are?" Kat asks the man. Dropping his bags, the two step back before the man opens his coat.
"It is time." The man states as Raiko and Kat both freak out. The others around them start covering the eyes of the children, even though they can't see what Raiko and Kat are seeing.
"Wh- What the heck?!"
"WHAT IS THAT?! WHAT IS THAT?!"
"Come! Come with me to another world!" The man yells as his eyes go dark. The two were shocked to see that the man's body was nothing but a void that grew larger at his words- Ah, now I know why the civilians would be concerned.
Walking towards the void, Raiko and Kat both looked at each other for a moment before extending their hands to the void. The void had taken them in without hesitance, leading them into a whirl far too bizarre to take in.
The older man, on the other hand, had entered the void for himself, disappearing amongst the eyes of the people. It was rather obvious to say, but the two had entered a world far more different than they could've imagined in their life.
