Topaz opened her eyes, finding herself in an open field, staring silently towards a light. She stepped forward, staring to run, reaching towards the end her eyes wide finding herself staying in one place, fear coursing through her body. "You have not met the people who will change your life, I cannot send you home yet!" Her eyes widened, feeling herself fall into a dark abyss. She yelped, falling to the ground and looked around, her eyes wide, finding herself in a worn down hallway. Hissing came from somewhere, making her stand up, realizing she was still in her nightgown. She looked around, before stepping forward, a large shadow coming closer. She screamed in alarm, falling over onto her rump as a large snake like monster came from around the corner.
Its tail wrapped around her ankle, causing her to hit her head on the ground as it snatched her into the air, a bit of blood coming from the side of her head. She snagged a blade, her eyes wide as she stabbed it right in the eye, forcing it to drop her. The monster swung its tail, sending her tumbling backwards. She screamed and covered her head. "DADDY!"Topaz yelled trembling. The monster lunged at her, it's mouth opening. A white light came from her hands, causing her eyes to widen in shock as she looked down at them. A star hit the ground in front of her, a strange male now standing there. "Ow, ow, that really hurts..." She stared at him in shock, scooting back. "How...a person..."Topaz mumbled shocked. "Ugh, maybe it was the magic tool, I feel dizzy right now..." She blinked at him, looking confused.
"Wait a moment...why am I here? I was in the magic took workshop a second ago, I swear it." He turned to her, causing her to flinch still in shock. "Hey, who are you? Did you bring me here?" He looked away, looking confused. "This is a summoning spell, but you don't have an imprint...how." She stared at him silently, before shakily getting to her feet, starting to move back more. "Where did you come from"Topaz demanded her eyes wide. She fell backwards, the male yelling in alarm as he grabbed her wrist, pulling her to safety and quickly closing the window. "Careful, lets finish this conversation some other time, this seems like it isn't a good time!" He looked at the monster, then looked back at her. "That monster is harassing you correct?"
She stayed silent, staring at him. "This place is absolutely crawling with monsters, I wonder how you made in here all by yourself...." She looked towards the monster, stepping away. "Hey, I'll get you out of here, don't worry!" He smiled at her and pulled out a long staff like wand. "I'm Arcturus, First Sorcerer of Boōtes, Guardian of Bound Arlyn, blessed by the Eighty-Eight Constellations!" He turned and pointed the item at the monster. Topaz moved back, a blinding light coming from the tip. She fell to the ground, a roaring sound filling her ears as she fell unconscious. "Oh uh miss! Miss! Are you alright!" Arcturus stared at her, gently shaking her, before picking her up and hurrying away, his wand vanishing into thin air. "Ah! Help, I think she needs help!"Arcturus called.
"It's astounding how you can sleep in a place you don't know." She opened her eyes, looking at the long haired male beside her bed in confusion. "Wake up stranger, unlike you we value our time here." She blinked at him, looking him up and down still confused. "Not gonna talk...well we wasted enough time here so I'm gonna briefly introduce myself"Spica sighed. "I am Spica First Sorcerer of Virgo, Arcturus is the one who brought you here he's my colleague." She blinked again at him, Spica taking note of how dull her eyes were. "You're at Neb Aula an off-campus dormitory for Contell Academy of Magic"Spica informs. She stared at him, making a face before looking around the room curiously. "So none of this makes sense to you from the way you looked at me, well I'm not surprised considering you're in your nightgown and you're being so silent"Spica frowned.
"Guess this means that Arcturus might be right about you crossing over from Mid Eartheim... I guess rift theories weren't so ludicrous after all..."Spica muttered looking away as he got to his feet. He looked back at her, noticing she was staring at him again. "...don't mind a word of what I said, I was talking to myself, anyhow, what is your name"Spica says. He stared back at her, the two staring each other frown causing the long haired male to frown. "No name?"Spica asks. She just continued to stare, staying silent before looking away and mumbling something. "I didn't hear you"Spica sighed leaning closer. "My name is....Topaz..."Topaz muttered. "Topaz...interesting name, I'll remember it since it seems like you and me are gonna be talking more often"Spica nodded.
She looked away, the dullness in her eyes growing duller, her emotional spark missing as she started to fiddle with her dress. He stared at her a small frown on his face, looking a little concerned with the way she was acting. "Are you emotionless..."Spica asks earning more silence from the girl in front of him. He frowned, finding this a little annoying. "You're emotionless and silent...not a good combination if you ask me"Spica sighed shaking his head. She glanced at him, before leaning away, her hair curtaining her face. He glanced at her dirty nightgown and winced a little from how filthy it looked. "It's about time they got here..."Spica says. The sound of running feet echoed from the hallway, making her look over. "Ta-da! Sorcerer Arcky makes his grand entrance!"Arcturus grinned.
