Topaz opened her eyes, finding herself in bed, a cup of water on the nightstand beside her. She sat up and stepped out of bed, only for her to fall to her knees. "You shouldn't be moving." She looked up, finding Spica staring down at her. He picked her up, gently placing her down on the bed and tucking her back in. "Sleep"Spica orders. Topaz felt a jolt of pain go through her, her eyes widening. Spica put her to sleep before she coughed up anymore blood, staring down at her. "Why didn't that spell help her"Spica demanded a dangerous scowl on his face as he turned to a Queen Tet student. "I don't know! Only the person who placed the spell on her knows!" Spica's hand shot up, grabbing the students throat, a scary look now on his face.
"I lost my sister twice before...I'm not loosing her again, trace the spell back to the person who did this"Spica says. "We did! It was traced back to Alpheratz! But even he didn't know how it happened!" A hand grabbed Spica's arm, Sirius standing there. "Calm down Spica, your sister is fine, the spell will wear off"Sirius smiled. He pointed to Topaz, glowing marks appearing across the girls body. "Topaz.."Spica says dropping the student. "How..."Spica says looking at Sirius as the Queen Tet student left. "Well..Spica, you're not the only one with memories from the last two lives"Sirius smirked. Spica stared at him in shock, Sirius smiling at him. "Spica, you should remember....the only people who were alive during the spell casting remember what happened"Sirius says.
"And the only three people who were alive were, me, you.......and Vega"Sirius says. "Everyone else I killed! The Headmaster included!"Sirius grinned. "Sirius..."Spica says. "You know I'd do ANYTHING to see a smile on Topaz's face, it was like that in the last two lives and it won't change now, and I'm sure you know that"Sirius chuckled. He turned to Topaz, and grabbed her hand, pressing a kiss to the palm. "If she told me to shoot myself, I'd do it without hesitation"Sirius mutters. "Call me crazy, but I love her!"Sirius laughed turning back to Spica. "And you Spica..she will never forgive you for what you've done....you were stupid enough to let Ruby mind control you"Sirius glared. "I-"Spica started his eyes widening.
"You're trying to make up for it..yeah, good luck, the only thing you're trying to make up for is the crushing guilt you feel for letting her die"Sirius frowned, "You're only gonna hurt her more." He turned and walked away, leaving Spica alone in the room. Spica looked down, narrowing his eyes before looking back at Topaz. He reached over and placed a hand on the girls head. In the past two lives, he had hated Topaz, from the moment he saw her. He recognized the expressions, the way she spoke and the way she walked. It was the same way his mother was. His mother had up and ran away one day, the last time he saw her was in his dream, where she told him she was sorry for leaving and how she felt bad that she couldn't come back to him.
Then Topaz arrived a few years after that, which caused bitter feelings to rise inside him. Bitter feelings that led to Ruby taking control of him, and putting Topaz easily out of the picture. He wanted to protest the day Topaz was gonna be hung, he wanted to help save her, but he couldn't...his bitter feelings got the best of him and that day he watched her die..along with an unborn baby. After Sirius helped Arcky turned back time, he awaited her arrival so he could try and change the way things were from his side...but he failed, the bitter feeling arrived immediately after Arcturus brought her in. Yet the feeling faded away the moment he saw Topaz trip and fall, and the moment he caught her, the bitterness washed away.
Topaz opened her eyes halfway, finding Spica scowling down at her, his arms crossed over his chest. She stared at him, then closed her eyes. Her brother really hated her, more than words could say. She opened her eyes, finding herself wondering through the darkness, shackles on her wrists and ankles as she walked around aimlessly. "There you are!" She turned, finding a small girl grinning up at her. "Who are you"Topaz asks quietly. "Very funny, Mom!"The girl laughed. "Crystal!" Topaz stared, looking up finding an older Sirius standing not far. "Dad, I found mom!"Crystal beamed holding Topaz's hand. "That's not your mother anymore"Sirius replied. Ruby smiled, holding her arms out. "Oh! Okay!"Crystal smiled running over to Ruby.
"STOP IT! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"Topaz pleaded tears falling down her cheeks. A hand grabbed hers, pulling her through the darkness away from the nightmare. She stared, finding herself in a cave with no entrance or exit, the space small enough for her to stand or sit. "Are you alright?" She looked around, before spotting a small blue blurry figure. "Who are you?"Topaz asks sitting on her knees. She reached forward and tried to touch the mysterious blue blur, only for her hand to go tight through it. "I am your familiar master! I am whatever you want me to be, but we never got to meet like this in dreams, so I never took the shape you want me to take, I'm stuck like this"The blue blur replied. Topaz stared, then closed her eyes.
She opened them, letting out a quiet gasp. A little polar bear cup with mini ice spikes sticking out of their back stared at her, magenta eyes sparkling. "Hello Master!"The cub beamed. "Hello...Icicle..."Topaz smiled reaching forward. She patted the cub on the head, her expression softening. "Now you gotta come find me!"Icicle beamed. Topaz stared, then found herself falling into a deep abyss. "Follow the stars!"Icicle calls as the area around her faded away. She gasped, waking back up in bed, finding Spica gone. She stepped out of bed, spotting little stars on the ground. She got up, walking after them curiously, blinking twice. She walked through the halls, before noticing the path was disappearing.
She started to run, her eyes wide in alarm, the stars fading away. "Wait! Don't leave yet!"Topaz yells reaching forward. She sped up, pushing herself ad she ran through the halls, noticing the stars were glowing brighter. "I'm close! ICICLE I'M HERE!"Topaz smiled looking around. Icicle might just be another thing she needed to hange her fate. She stopped dead, wondering why she died twice last time in the first place. "Is it because I made the same mistakes just at different times...or is it because Ruby would interfere with every thing I did to change my future"Topaz mutters. "TOPAZ!" She looked up and smiled at the sound of Icicles voice. She crashed into someone and fell over, her eyes widening at what she heard. "I demand the transfer of Topaz, Summoner of Mid Eartheim, to be cancelled."
