Topaz opened her eyes, finding herself in the halls of Contell, a curious look on her face. "Spica..." She turned finding her second self there with Spica. "I'm your little sister! Why do you hate me so much"Past Topaz yells tears falling down her cheeks. "Ruby isn't your sister, I am....how is she more important than me"Past Topaz says quietly. "You are NOTHING to me....don't think so highly of yourself because you have stronger Summoning magic...you're still weak and a let down"Spica glared. She stared in shock, stepping closer to the two. She waved her hand in front of their faces, looking at the past her and Spica. "Wait"Past Topaz pleaded grabbing her brothers sleeve. Spica snatched his arm away, sending her crashing to the ground.
"TOPAZ!" Arcturus kneeled down beside the past Topaz, looking worried. "Spica, she's your sister!"Arcturus yells looking scared. "If you keep insisting on siding with her, it will bring you down as well, Arcturus"Spica glared. "Do you want me to beg.." Past Topaz shakily reached out, staring at Spica. "If you want me to beg, I'll beg! If you want me to cry, I'll do it! Just don't leave me, you're my big brother!"Past Topaz cried. Spica turned and walked away, leaving her stunned. Past Topaz looked down, Arcturus hugging her silently. Topaz closed her eyes, then opened them, finding herself among a crowd. Her Past self walked up a small flight of stairs, magic shackles around her wrists. "LET ME THROUGH! LET ME THROUGH!"
She turned, finding Sirius pushing through the crowd, Arcturus behind him. "NOT HER! TOPAZ!"Sirius yelled summoning his gun. Several sorcerers held him and Arcturus back. "SHE'S INNOCENT! IT WAS RUBY!"Arcturus cried terrified. Two sorcerers dragged him forward, magic shackles appearing around his wrists. "ARCKY!"Past Topaz cried as he was dragged up to stand with her. He smiled slightly, and laughed. "Remember what I said Topaz, if we go down, we'll go down together"Arcturus beamed. "TOPAZ!"Sirius yells reaching for her, tears falling down his cheeks. Past Topaz looked at Sirius and smiled. "You would've been a great father Sirius"Past Topaz beamed placing her hands on her stomach, causing Sirius's eyes to widen.
"STOP! SHE'S-"Sirius started. He froze, staring in shock as the platform dropped. Flames bursted from around him, grabbing his gun as he shot the sorcerers holding him back right in the head. Flames flew at her, her arms shielding her face. She shut her eyes and opened them, finding herself back in her room. Spica sat at the end of her bed, looking back at her as she sat up terrified. "Sleep"Spica orders gently. He placed his hands over her eyes, Topaz feeling drowsie. She fell asleep, laying on her side. "No more nightmares, little sis"Spica mutters gently touching her temple. Topaz trembled a little, then smiled. "Pretty woman..."Topaz mutters. He stared down at her, then smiled and gently patted her head.
The sun shined through an opened window, a gentle breeze coming in. Topaz opened her eyes and sat up, looking towards the window silently. She touched her necklace, feeling something strange about it. She grabbed a book from the bookshelf, and sighed. She tossed it up, and shut her eyes tight, bracing for the incoming pain, but found nothing. She opened her eyes, staring in shock finding a protection barrier around her. The book had been tossed back, and was now laying on the floor as the barrier went down. "Wow"Topaz mutters touching the necklace. "Did....Spica, put this on me"Topaz mutters. She looked down, remembering how her past self called Spica her brother.
"We're siblings..."Topaz mutters covering her mouth, tears falling down her cheeks stunned. She quickly wiped her tears away, now noticing Spica was missing, a school uniform set out neatly on her bed. She walked over and picked the clothed up, getting changed surprised that it was a perfect fit. "How"Topaz mutters. She jumped, hearing footsteps, her eyes wide. "Arcky? What're you doing, standing here like a creep? You look like you got caught doing something...should I be calling the police?" "N-No, Poll, don't be silly! I wasn't doing a-anything.." Topaz perked up, recognizing Arcky's voice, but her body kept her frozen in place still remembering the dream from last night. "Exactly. You were pacing back and forth in front of this room, like a creep!"
"What's in it anyway?" "No wait!" Topaz hurried over and swung the door open, her eyes wide as both boys stared down at her in surprise. "Man, I-I nearly had a heart attack! I didn't even know this was your room, Topaz, you could've told me! Look at your hair!"Pollux says. Topaz stared at him, her hair messy and almost all over the place. "Hehe...did you sleep well, Topaz? I should've told you in advance, but I guess I was anxious to see you"Arcturus says nervously rubbing the back of his head. Topaz stared up at Arcky, tears starting to fall down her cheeks. "T-TOPAZ?!"Arcturus yelled his eyes wide in alarm. She fell to her knees, the memory of Arcky being hung beside her replaying, the smile that was on his face making her cry more.
"TOPAZ! DON'T CRY! WHAT'S THE MATTER!"Arcturus yells worriedly, kneeling down in front of her. She gripped onto him, letting out a small wail as she cried. "Y-YOU CAN'T DIE ON ME ARCKY!"Topaz yells. "Woah, die is a strong word!"Pollux says alarmed. "Pollux, let me handle her, you wait in the hallway"Arcturus insists. "Alright"Pollux says hurrying out. Arcturus sat Topaz down on the bed, and sat beside her. "Are you alright?"Arcturus asks concerned. "I had a bad dream last night"Topaz says. "I dreamt that we were both being hung and Sirius set fire to the place"Topaz says. "Hung?!"Arcturus gasped. "..can I tell you something..."Topaz asks glancing away.
"Go ahead, you know I'm on your side Topaz"Arcturus nodded standing uo ajd kneeling down in front of her. "This is the third time I've come back..."Topaz says quietly, Arcturus perking up. "The first time I died because of some kind of accident, the second time I was hung along side you, this is my third and final life....if I screw up here, I don't think it'd be able to come back, so I have to play my cards right..."Topaz went on. "What"Arcturus mutters his eyes wide in shock. "I don't know the whole story, but in both lives I died because of Ruby"Topaz explains. "Ruby.."Arcturus mutters looking down. "I know it's stupid, I know I sound insane, but it is the truth....the dream was one of my last memories before I was brought back"Topaz says.
"I always felt as if I was going through the same pain more than once back home because I was able to sense what would happen next and avoid it..."Topaz went on. She looked down, her hair curtaing face. "I don't know why Ruby is doing this! We were best friends as kids, now it's suddenly like this, it's all gone downhill"Topaz mumbles. "Topaz." She looked up, finding Arcturus smiling at her. "I believe you!"Arcturus smiled. "If you need my help I am here, we're gonna change your fate! We'll start by helping you gain everyone's trust more!"Arcturus smiled. She stared at him stunned, hot tears falling down her cheeks. He chuckled and patted her head. "Arcky...Spica is also my brother."
He blinked then laughed and smiled. "I should've known"Arcturus smiled. "The way he looked at you when you first arrived, and if you hadn't notice he had also been standing close to you at times"Arcturus smiled. She smiled slightly, feeling a safe warmth with Arcturus around. "And Topaz..."Arcturus says. "I won't die! You're gonna need me here with you, I've got your back, no matter what!"Arcturus smiled. She smiled back and wiped her tears away. "You guys done yet in there, my legs hurt from waiting out here!"Pollux called. "Hahaha! Sorry Poll! Here we come!"Arcturus laughed. He held his hand out to Topaz, smiling when she took it. The two smiled at each other, a red butterfly watching from the window.
