Topaz walked after the others, her ankle feeling better after being carried. She looked around, her eyes widening slightly, noticing she was lost. She leaned forward, looking out the window, a flying whale startling her as it swooped by her. She rubbed her hands together, missing her father, wondering if he was okay. "Topaz..." She turned, finding a scowling Ruby there. "Might I suggest you distance yourself from the boys, none of them will care for you once I earn all of their trust and make them hate you"Ruby glared. "I did it once back home, I can do it again here, if you don't want that, find some new friends to pity you!"Ruby spat.
Someone crashed into Topaz, sending her falling to the ground, Ruby smirking in amusement. "Topaz! Are you okay!"Ruby gasped her attitude changing immediately. "Oh, sorry...I should've seen you coming..."The new person says sweat dropping. He narrowed his eyes, then perked up surprised. "You the one the ground..."The male muttered. "Do you know her?"Ruby asked Topaz wincing at how tight the redhead was warningly gripping her wrist. "If I'm not mistaken..."The male started. He shook his head, snapping out of it. "No never mind, I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else"The male says immediately.
"Though you both don't look like...you're from Contell. What are you doing here all alone"The male questioned. "We transferred here today!"Ruby beamed releasing Topaz. Topaz gripped her now broken wrist, her eyes wide as tears threatened to fall. The male glanced at Ruby then at Topaz's wrist. "You're transfer students, I didn't hear about transfer students"He said frowning. He closed his eyes, and sighed. "Enough, I'm gonna check both of your memories myself, it's gonna be faster that way"The male grumbled. "What..."Ruby says her eyes wide, Topaz looking at her knowing exactly what the redhead was thinking about.
"You shouldn't be afraid of memory browsing after you broke someone's wrist"The male glared. "I can tell you're a bad person but I wanna confirm where you are from and why you're both here"The white haired male scowled glaring at Ruby. Topaz stared at him stunned, her eyes wide. "You. Focus on me, this won't take long"the male says stepping closer to Ruby. Topaz moved in front of Ruby, her eyes wide as the male drew a white rapier, pointing it towards her cousin. "STOP!"Topaz yelled. "TOPAZ! THERE YOU ARE!" Arcturus caught the rapier with his wand and twists it quickly away from her, shielding her from the mysterious male, Ruby looking alarmed.
"Topaz, you gave me a huge scare..what a day this has been"Arcturus sighed shaking his head. She blinked at him, staring up at the male. "Well, you were there with us a moment ago and next thing we know you disappeared! That was close, are you okay"Arcturus says quickly. She showed him her wrist, his eyes widening in alarm. "Oh, I'm sorry it took so long...but I was really worried about you"Arcturus says checking her wrist, gently moving it around causing her to wince. "Uhm, I'm here too"Ruby interrupted. ".....Hi..."Arcturus says simply, looking at her then turning his attention back to Topaz.
"And Uh, Vega, please lower your sword..nobody wants to fight you"Arcturus adds on nervously, bandaging Topaz's wrist up, relieved he brought bandages in case she got injured. "Well I was in the middle of a standard procedure. You had no right to interrupt me, Sorcerer Arcturus"Vega retorted Arcturus perking up. "Oh, I see, you though these two were trespassers! We would've told you everything if you'd shown up at the meeting, you know"Arcturus gasped sweating. Topaz reached up, using her sleeve to wipe his sweat away, Ruby scowling behind her. "This is Topaz, a summoner from Mid Eartheim who just officially transferred here and will be staying with us"Arcturus smiled.
"Hi! I'm Ruby, Topaz's cousin, also a Summoner!"Ruby says quickly, Arcturus glancing at her. "Mid Eartheim, both of them..."Vega stared starting to sweat now. "Yep!"Ruby beamed. "I see, now the most plausible excuse I've heard, but..."Vega muttered looking away. He looked back at them both seriously, frowning. "I guess it's not entirely impossible. You will have to take responsibility for your words later"Vega frowned. He took a deep breath in and let it out. "I'm Vega, First Sorcerer of Lyra.......please forgive me for earlier, my haste got the better of me"Vega sighed looking at the two.
"I'd like to know, however, the purpose of your visit here.."Vega continued. "You really should've been at the meeting, this is a pretty long story"Arcturus sighed placing a hand on Topaz's back, moving her away from Ruby. "Come with us, Vega! I'll tell you everything on the way!"Arcturus smiled. "This way Topaz...Ruby....the others are already there"Arcturus adds. "Wait, Sorcerer Arcturus. Where are you taking me? You can't just-"Vega protested. Ruby threw Topaz a murderous glare, her fists trembling looking about ready to break her wrists or twist her neck. Topaz flinched and bolted after Arcturus and Vega, Ruby angrily walking after them annoyed.
