"TOPAZ WAIT!" Topaz ran through the halls, an angry look on her face, her fists trembling, ignoring Arcturus as he called out to her again. Students started to block him off, his eyes wide when he spotted her vanishing from view. "T-TOPAZ!!" Topaz looked back, then tripped over something her eyes wide. "SPICA!" She fell on something, her eyes widening in alarm. "Ow...what just happened? Why am I....wait..." Alpheratz stared at her, looking surprised. Topaz covered her mouth, shocked with herself with how she called for Spica to help her. "This is your summoning magic? Hm, they weren't kidding about you being able to use it unconditionally"Alpheratz sighed looking thoughtful.
"Sorry and thanks for catching me"Topaz mutters getting to her feet. "All I did was land in the right spot against my will, there was no need to thank me"Alpheratz snorted, "Man, I hate getting involved in other people's messes. I had a bad feeling about this the moment I was summoned." She stared at him in surprise, before feeling eyes on her. She turned, and spotted Icicle trembling not too far from her, making her blink twice in confusion. "So, what's going on here again?"Alpheratz asks getting her attention again. Her eyes widened, spotting Sirius watching not far, his eyes red with an angry glint in them. He vanished around the corner, Icicle quickly running over to Topaz.
Topaz sighed before, explaining to Alpheratz about what was happening. "So you're telling me, you woke up after fainting and ran like a maniac through the halls to find Ruby...because you wanted...answers? And you tripped over something and thats when i showed up"Alpheratz asks. Icicle snarled at the mention of Ruby, looking angry. "Your familiar says a lot too"Alpheratz went on. "What"Topaz blinked. "Familiars tend to reveal the emotion their master is feeling even if their owner is hiding their emotions for some reason, don't think I didn't see Icicle trembling in fear and me feeling eyes watching us"Alpheratz explained. She flinched slightly, looking alarmed. "All this within a minute, you really attract chaos"Alpheratz chuckled.
She smiled slightly, feeling flustered. "Well...I didn't ask to be here or to have this power"Topaz mutters ruining the moment. "Of course not, did I sound like I was blaming you?"Alpheratz blinked stunned, "All I meant is that you seem to get into these messy situations realky often, no offense, it's just an observation." She nodded, picking Icicle up, holding her familiar in her arms. "Alright, Topaz. Let's go back to the beginning...you dropped out of another world and then immediately summoned Arcky and this time you summoned me instead of Arcky"Alpheratz mutters looking away. "Yes"Topaz nodded Icicle snorting a little looking impressed that he remembered. Alpheratz stared at the familiar, then glanced away.
"Is it because you're not used to summoning yet or are you just built differently because you're not from around here?"Alpheratz asks curiously. Topaz started giggling, until it turned into full on laugher, Icicle letting out amused grunts. "You asked if I'm built differently!"Topaz laughed. Alpheratz stared at her with mild amusement, surprised she found that funny. "I had an older brother who would use that ALL THE TIME! Nex was such a jerk but he was the best brother"Topaz laughed. A sad smile appeared on her face as she looked down, before her face turned expressionless. Alpheratz cleared his throat, getting her attention once more. "Lets stop the guessing games, why bother? All we need to do is look at the basics"Alpheratz says.
He patted her head, startling her as she felt a cool minty breeze encircle her. Her eyes widened slightly, spotting the eye looking straight at her. "GET AWAY!" Black electricity circled around her and Icicle, Alpheratz jumping back in alarm, looking startled. "Electric magic..."Alpheratz mutters shocked. Topaz looked a Alpheratz, her eyes wide in alarm. "Sorry if it felt unpleasant, but that was the fastest way to know!"Alpheratz says still shocked. She stepped back when he came closer, Icicle baring her teeth at the male. "Calm down, I'm not gonna hurt you, why would I do that"Alpheratz says quietly, reaching for her. A gunshot went off, an attack barely missing the male.
Topaz screamed in alarm, shielding her face as the small attack hit a vase, shattering it, small shards flying at her. "...I see you have a bodyguard, Topaz..."Alpheratz says glancing around cautiously. He sighed and looked down at her. "An imprinting process leaves a mark near your heart, I just took a look to see if it was there, alright"Alpheratz explains causing her to perk up in surprise. "And I wanted to ask, what are you Topaz?"Alpheratz went on, "You...you have an enormous amount of Mana that you had to have a familiar to hold some of it yet it's still leaking out somehow, I'm imprinted onto you and so many others as well." She stared in shock, wondering if that was the reason why she kept coughing up blood at times back home.
"Lets keep this on the down low for now..actually, lets just forget about this, I might be completely wrong"Alpheratz sighed. She touched her head, still wondering why he gave her a headpat. "Screw this, lets go find Arcturus and his kidnappers"Alpheratz smiled looking down at her, "They probably got him so busy that he forgot about us, and we're gonna make sure he never did." She nodded, Icicle huffing looking jealous. "You can be really kind, Alphe"Topaz mutters. "...I just got goosebumps from you calling me kind and that silly nickname you gave me. Wanna see them?"Alpheratz grinned then cleared his throat, "Lets check that way first." She followed him down the hall into the lobby, looking around silently.
"Why do I have a bad feeling, Topaz let's look somewhere else"Alpheratz frowned. She silently walked away, setting Icicle down as she ignored Alpheratz when he reached to stop her. "You're a classic Queen Tet, aren't you? Not that I expected some gunslinger to understand noble celestial intentions!" "Shut up, Fifi Pfeper fossil! I'll crush you like an eggshell!" "YOU CALL THAT A THREAT? HIT ME! COME ON, HIT ME!!" Arcturus flinched in alarm, looking nervous. "Guys, cut it out! Magical combat is forbidden outside of class!"Arcturus reminded as quick as he could. "Okay, I give up! We can't stop 'em, man!"Pollux sighed. "If it didn't Arcly and Pollux neck-deep in other people's problems"Alpheratz hummed.
Topaz walked up to the two students, spotting Ruby also trying to calm them down. "Topaz?"Ruby says. Topaz stood between the two, causing their yells to be directed at her. "T-TOPAZ! MOVE!"Arcturus shouts hurrying forward. Black electricity shot from around her, getting ahold of the two student's and holding them down. Alpheratz face palmed, although felt unsurprised that she jumped in. "TOPAZ WATCH OUT!" Topaz looked back, then threw her arm up, the protection barrier place on her appearing as the Queen Tet student shot at her looking furious. "Woah..."Alpheratz mutters impressed. "What's going in here?" She looked up, her eyes widening in surprise.
Students started to panic, the two boys she had down struggling to get up. "Senior Sorcerer Betelgeuse!" "Let me go!" "Hey! Let us go!" The barrier lowered, the electricity returning back to her as she stared at the male in front of her, looking startled. The crowd started hurrying away, looking a bit afraid. Betelgeuse stared down at her, then smiled slightly. "Sirius..."Topaz mutters. The male perked up then smiled and let the disguise drop. "Hello, Angel Baby, I'm glad you're safe right now, props to Spica"Sirius greets warmly, his expression softening. She stayed silent, staring at him then stepped forward. She raised her arms and silently hugged him. Sirius stared then wrapped his arms around her, pressing a kiss to the top of her head, a small smile on his face.
