Chapter 6:

The moment they pushed me into the car they blindfolded me.

"We can't have you seeing where we're going" they said as they put the blind fold on. A little too much force was used if you ask me.

My hands were bound, as were my feet. There is no escaping this. I have so many questions but I'm scared to ask. I don't understand why these people want me, I'm a nobody.

I must have fallen asleep because next thing I know I'm being shaken awake.

"Get up and get out," one of the men said to me.

"I cant." I replied agitated.

"You have until the count of three. Don't test me girl," the guard barked.

"I cant. I'm all tied up" I rolled my eyes under the blindfold.

My upper arms were gripped and my body propelled over what I assume to be someone's shoulder.

"This one is a smart ass." The guard said dryly.

He began walking into what I assume to be the hellhole that is this woman's home.

"Have you got the girl?" a woman with a silky smooth voice asked.

Even her voice was beautiful.

"Yes your highness. She's right here."

I was dropped on to my knees on the floor. Hissing, I tried to sit up. That's definitely going to leave a bruise.

"Oh dear, she's a guest not a prisoner. Remove her blind fold and bonds." The woman ordered.

Once the ropes were removed and the blindfold I rubbed my ankles and wrists. That's going to scar. I looked up at the woman. She has got to be one of the most beautiful creatures I have ever seen. She smiled knowingly at me. It was unnerving. It's as if she knows my whole life story from just taking one look at me.

"You look as if you have many questions. Speak child," she commanded.

I'm definitely not a child. Biting my tongue I spoke.

"Um I'm not really sure how this works. Do I bow or something?"

She laughed. A very airy and velvety laugh. This woman is too perfect. It makes me sick. I wonder if all female wolves are as pretty as she is.

"No definitely not. If anything it is I who should bow before you. I can't believe you're actually here. You look just like them you know?" she said with a smile.

"I'm sorry, like who?" I asked confused.

"Like your mother and father. I didn't know them long just 15 years but they were very admirable people."

I looked away. How can I respond to that? I don't even know who I am.

"Why am I here?" I sighed.

"There is a war brewing and you are at the forefront of it and yet you know so little about our kind, your people."

"Why call them my people. Aren't you just after the throne?" I asked confused.

"No, my older brother is and it is basically his. I on the other hand want no part of this." She clarified.

"So why help me? If that is what you're doing. And why kidnap me?" I asked annoyed.

"I needed to get to you before my brother made another move. I'm sorry for the way my men went about it"
