chapter 42

22 hours and 15 minutes of flight at long last- Shinichi and Ran arrived in the airport. There's a tour guide welcome the couple and fetch them in the airport. While on the road, Shinichi get his phone and texted her saying how sorry he was and how he misses her badly. Ran keeps sharing stories to their tour guide and didn't notice her husband.

Still no messages coming from her. He feels unhappy but he couldn't show it to Ran. He mustn't. He put his phone back on his pocket and hoping this vacation will end as soonest as possible.

The car stopped and they were guided to the place where they'll stay at. Ran lay down in the mattress feeling extremely tired. She closed her eyes and in just a minute she's already sleeping. He didn't wake her up nor take a nap, he closed the door behind him  and started walking. The place is beautiful indeed.

'Wish she's with me instead of Ran...' he said to himself.

He grab his phone and tried to call her again. It only take 2 rings before she pick it up.

"Hello who's this?" She asked.

He immediately smile as he heard her voice. He's not using his sim card so she can answer it.

"I said Who's this?" The tone in her voice seems irritated. She didn't like wasting time specially over the phone.  She don't have time to mess around.

"I miss you." He sincerely and sweetly said.

There's a pause between the line. He didn't talk for a moment waiting for her to say something.

"Did you arrived already?" She simply ask.

"Yeah."

"Ok."

"I miss you." He repeat again.

"I feel the same way."

He's glad to hear it.

"You're not mad?" He ask.

"Not anymore."

"Thank you."

"But..."

"Hmm?"

"I have a favor."

"And what is that?"

"Don't... just don't..."

"Don't I what?"

He heard her sighed.

"Don't sleep with her." She demands.

"Copy that."

"Promise me?"

"I promise to obey you."

"No matter how hard she tried please control yourself. I know I don't have any rights to tell you what you should do or not but... I just don't want you to do it with her. Please..."

He finds it cute when she's jealous.

"I can assure you that nothing will happen ok? So don't overthink. When I'm back in Japan I'll visit you right away."
