Chapter 4- bullies

the next day at school I couldn't stop thinking about my dreams. I was so caught up in my thinking that I bumped into Dawson. " hey i thought we were clear," Dawson snapped. "I...I..." I stammered nice going forest, now he thinks your weak! I thought. He pushed me backwards,smirking. Then he signaled his buddies,Ricky and Wolf, to "finish me". I got up glaring at them. Wolf tried to growl as best as he could(which was the equivalent to"grrrrr"). I really growled at him which made his eyes open wide in shock for a second... Then they resumed their glaring at me. Ricky just kept pursuing me like a predator after prey. My instincts take over, Ricky tried to punch me but I caught it and threw him back . He fell on butt surprised at my strength. Wolf lunged and aimed for my neck but I easily dogged and he landed face first into the wall." Ow," wolf mumbled. Ricky got back up and still trying to through punches at me, I doges most of them . One had hit my shoulder, he smirked at this, but instead of hurting me it just made me mad. So , in return I gave him a punch to the stomach and a roundhouse kick to the face. He fell flat on his back mumbling something that sounded like " I got beat by a girl," . Dawson just stared at me and frowned ,as if he was angry, but his eyes told me he was scared. Ricky and wolf got up and stood behind Dawson like scared puppies. " this is not over ....." He snarled then paused to think if a annoying nick name ."Newb" I growled when he said this . Then Dawson and his crew walked away . Still covered in bruises.

during lunch I decided to bring it to school so I took whatever i hadn't eaten last night and shoved in a brown paper bag and jogged to the cafeteria. I walked over to where Spencer and Cassidy usually sit and began eating " what is that!" Cassidy whisper/shrieked. "it's food"I reply my mouth full of deer. Cassidy gave me a look that read,that looks like road kill! "Instead if talking about forests weird appetite. Let's talk about sports!" Spencer said with a mischievous smile. Cassidy rolled her eyes and sighed"fine, I have a volleyball game this Saturday against these people called the Tazerz." She said " that sounds like a type of soda" I said spencer's face had that look when he gets an idea. " oh no" I said pretending to be scared, Cassidy rolled her eyes "guys how about we," he pointed at my and himself " go to your game!" He said enthusiastically " I think thats a great idea,forest? " Cassidy said " hmm let me check my schedule, I said pretending to take out my phone. "you guys are lucky I'm free that day!" I said pretending to put my fake phone away. this made Cassidy giggle and Spencer laughed. Then the mean girls walked up to us I kept my head low but the red haired one had to talk " hey Spence," she purred "wanna hang our sometime?" She asked batting her eyes. " how about Saturday, it's now or never Spence," she said "sorry Katie I'm busy that day," the blonde one stepped up and saw my food."ewww!! What is that!! It smells like poop!! she shrieked , the whole lunch room turned to see the commotion. Katie and the other girl snickered. "dont be mean,Susan," the brunet said " it looks and smells like poop!" The whole cafeteria laughed. "Come on Carrie leave her alone," Cassidy said "she jacked up my boyfriend,Tiger,you should be thanking me!" She snapped flipping her hair and sashaying away. The cafeteria still laughing at me . Cassidy looks at me. "Er...um...Cassidy...uh...I can explain," I stammered "did he deserve it?" She asked "what?" I asked surprised "did he deserve it?" She repeated "well he was trying to beat me up so ... Yeah" I said. So then we just sat in awkward silence until the bell rang.
