Chapter 6- Jay

I wake up with a very cute guy with light dirty blonde hair standing over me."Finally your awake," he said half smiling. I groan getting up " who are you?" I asked him. " I'm Jay,Scar's son" he replies cooly taking a leaf out of his hair, which somehow made him look even cuter. "I'm Forest" I say and try to get up smoothly but end up getting up awkwardly and tripping and landing on top of him. "Th-thanks for c-catching me" I stutter "No problem" he says with a heart melting grin. I quickly get off him and try to find Scar. I saw him and ran to him, almost hitting multiple pack mates ."Scar...I mean Alpha I need to go to school" as soon as I said school everyone froze and looked at me. He raised an eyebrow unfazed. " fine but Jay will go to protect you," he told me. I bowed my head respectfully . And he placed his furry black paw on my forehead. "with all do respect Scar...I mean Alpha, I don't need a guard. I can protect myself," I argued. "I am your Alpha now,Forest, you must do what I say." He told me taking his paw off my forehead. "I can protect myself," I mumble under my breath While walking over to Jay. "So dad wants me to go to school with you," he asks, I heard a hint of hope in his voice. " yeah so you can 'protect' me," I say holding up quotations. He nods and I go to my little spot in the woods and change into something presentable. When I go back to him he is also dressed like a regular high schooler,totally not a werewolf! "Let's go," I tell him and take off running , he is chasing me as if we were pups. Then I stop abruptly in front of the school, Jay tries to do the same but ends up tripping and landing on top of me. " ouch " I heard him groan, then i pushed him off and got up. "welcome" I said as i opened the doors to my high school "to high school"

by lunch he was already tired."Can we leave now," he asked for the hundredth time. "Jay thats not how school works you stay for the WHOLE day,"I replied, again,for the hundredth time. "anyway i want you to meet my friends," i said grabbing his hand and dragging him towards the table where Cassidy and Spencer were.i"hey Spencer!" i said sitting next to Cassidy. i blushed a deep red, quickly letting go of Jay's hand. Spencer sniffed"who is this," he said suspiciously. "this is my...er... neighbor, Jay. he is new so i wanted to show him around." i lied. "hi Jay!" Cassidy said in her usual peppiness. Jay pulled me to a corner, he looked worried and...... jealous?i shook that thought out of my head. "whats wrong Jay?" i asked. " are you sure this guy is safe?" he said looking worried which made his dreamy face even more dreamy. "Yeah, plus if he was dangerous i could totally kick his butt" i said punching him in the arm to remind him of my strength. i began to walk back to where we were sitting.He raised an eyebrow, but followed me anyway.

when school was over i began to lead Jay to the forest when Dawson intercepted us. "Hey newb," he said casually noticing Jay "i told you it wasn't over and don't except your boyfriend here to save you,". my ears turned bright red,"he's not my boyfriend" i said through clenched teeth. Dawson took a menacing step forward and Jay was about to go in beast mode ,but i stopped him. he signaled Wolf and Ricky to get me. i growled my wolf growl louder than last time to scare them and it worked. they walked toward me very slowly and cautiously. Jay was watching me so i was a bit nervous partly cause he is hot and partly because i don't want 'werewolf kills two kids in local high school' to be on the front page of the newspaper. Wolf lunged at me and I picked him up with both hands and threw him at a tree.My aim was perfect. he hit the tree with a thud and fell. he was groaning and not getting up. Jay's perfect eyes went wide. Ricky looked really scared now so i smiled revealing a bit of my fangs but hiding them a second after so he thinks he just imagined it. he ran at me throwing wild punches at me. i dodged most of them but one hit me in the stomach. i took a step back. Ricky smiled at this. HE SMILED!!!!! I thought enraged. I let out a vicious snarl. Ricky face turned as white as a sheet, i ran at him and punched in the face he stumbled backwards but i wasn't finished yet, i did a flying round house kick with deadly precision. he fell on the floor and cried. i was breathing very hard and recovered from my...um...moment and realized i broke his nose and his ribs. Dawson ran away scared. Ricky and wolf followed him limping. "uh well sorry you had to see that," i said embarrassed. "don't be" he said "you were amazing". he tilted my head towards him with his finger. he was about to kiss me when, Natalia came out of the bushes in her wolf form. "oh, um sorry was I interrupting something?" she said apologizing. "no, its fine." i said following her into the forest. that memory playing over and over in my head.
