Cassidy's P.O.V
I opened my eyes, I'm starving! I thought. But this hunger felt different, it was driving me nuts! I sniffed the air, And smelled something delicious. I heard a rustle in a tree. One second I was on the ground the next I was in a tree sucking the life out of a squirrel. Warm blood dripped from my fangs as I tossed the carcass aside no longer hungry. Then the realization set in, I jumped down from the tree and cried I fell on my knees.
Forest's P.O.V
We watched her jump from the tree and fall on her knees. The whole time her eyes were blood red, I wanted so badly to run over and tell her it's ok. But Jay held me back, not yet he
Told me with his eyes. We watched as she cried and her red eyes slowly faded to their regular green. I was up before Jay could stop me, I rushed to her side. She was sobbing uncontrollably, I kneeled beside her and hugged her. She stopes crying and wiped the tears from her eyes, "h-hi" she sniffles. "Hi, how are you?" I asked still hugging her. "I don't know...." She paused "am I a monster?" I let go of her and looked her straight in the eye "no, you just are on a new diet for life" I said. She gave me a small, no, tiny smile. We both got up and Jay finally, cautiously walked out of the bushes. "Uhh... Hi Cassidy.." He said approaching her like a wild animal. I rolled my eyes, and led Cassidy out of the clearing. "So, what do we do now?" Cassidy asked. "That" I said "is a very good question"
