Project Parabolica was a project done by a company called RBG ( or in more specific terms Red Bull Gaming ). It was aimed to try and enhance a players ability by letting he/she to warp into the game. It was tested onto a player named Y/N, a guy born in Miami who loves racing, had his own car (an RB6 converted with floating wheels like the cars shown in episode 4). He was a 2 time world champion in F1 for the Red Bull Esports team being crowned his own helmet which kind of looked like this.

However Project Parabolica was then promptly cancelled by RBG's CEO William Greene after it failed to show consistent results and diverted funding to a massive gaming arena where the best in the world play, dubbed the Red Bull Ring. After Parabolica, a man by the name of James Sheridan found out about the project when he worked there for a bit. He took inspiration and left off where Parabolica was and took in Y/N as an assistant as well as another Meta Runner at TasCorp by the name of Lucinia. However, there was a brutal accident that ensued with an explosion ending it all. After the incident happened, RBG and TasCorp would be rivals with both of them always having contested champions and extremely proficient Meta Runners on both sides. And this is where our story begins...
P.S: Silica City in this canon will be located in Australia for obvious reason if you've watched the show.
