Sofia: Told you!
*The guard in the van would shock her with an electrical baton and Lucks closes the inside doors between him and Sofia*
Sofia, muffled: Worth it!
Lucks: This isn't working...
*Lucks thinks for a bit, and then remembers something*
*Back at the arena*
Evelyn: You call yourselves scientists!? You can't even fix a broken door panel! I swear once I'm out of here I'll have you two reassigned to the sewage maintenance division!
*The scientists stop for a second after hearing what Evelyn said, then slowly start to walk away until...*
Evelyn: I DON'T HEAR FIXING!
*The scientists keep on working on the door as Evelyn sits back down on her chair in her locked gaming pod. She'd then get a call from Lucks*
Evelyn: Sir, I am so glad you called! I've had a think and I've come up with a few plans on how to salvage my showcase match. First!-
Lucks: Evelyn. Stop and listen to me. Things are spiraling right now and I can't give you a new show match. But how does a rematch sound instead?
*Lucks links Evelyn's computer in the arena to the gaming cartridge back at TasCorp*
Evelyn: Oooh, that sounds-
*The door is opened by the scientists*
Evelyn: CLOSE THAT DOOR YOU DULT, CAN'T YOU SEE I'M ON THE PHONE!?
*The scientist throws his tools at the ground and throws his arms up and leaving the room*
Evelyn: That sounds lovely sir.

Tari: Theo, Y/N, let's go!
Theo: Wahey!
Y/N: Woohoo!
*The group would be quickly speeding through the levels. They get near the end of one where there is a lot of coconut tree enemies, Tari and Y/N use their meta runner vision to find and ways of passing and find a nearby fallen pillar to glitch through and defeat the enemies. When they glitch through, Theo throws his coconuts outside the pillar and leaves in near him to defeat all the enemies that were outside the pillar. Finally, they leave the glitched pillar to the final part of the game*
Theo: CRACKER JACK! The last flag! We're out of here!
Y/N: Heh, not yet mate, we still have to... woaaahh-
*A rumbling sound starts and the ground shakes with it*
Theo: Ah! Is this is, is the game crashing?
Tari: ...No... worse...
*The eldritch horror of Ultra Jump Mania comes from out of the ground with a very maniacal cackling laugh*
Y/N and Tari: It's Evelyn...
Evelyn: Waaarning! Challenger approaching!
Y/N: What challenger? The failed experiment?
Evelyn: Oh no no. Something worse than that. And your little girlfriend has taken something from me...
*Tari and Y/N blush, but don't deny her*
Theo: Hehe, she called you his girlfriend...
Tari: Theo, not the time! So focus now because she's just a distraction. Just get to the goal post.
