Tari: Ok Lamar, Evelyn's gone mad, Masa's been eliminated, and we still have 3 MINUTES until Sofia's program finishes! But... this is fine. Right?... AH!
*A few remaining soldiers start to rush Tari and Lamar with a heavy soldier with his rail gun knocking them down from the rooftops. They surround them in a deja vu from last chapter*
Tari: Oh COME ON! Wait, what the...
*Smoke clouds surround Lamar and Tari as enemy after enemy starts getting defeated. Pick flashes would be seen as well*
Lamar: It's Evelyn, she's trying to wipe out everyone in the whole game.
Evelyn: Hello again.
Tari: Lamar, stick with me. Evelyn, come out! You wanted to fight me, remember!
Evelyn: Oh, don't worry. I'll get to you soon enough.
*Lucks on the stage and Edwards from the stadium's overhead view start to see the scoreboard dropping rapidly as Evelyn slaughters the players there. Lucks smirks*
Edwards: Son of a bitch... Come on guys. Just a bit longer. *Radioes* Sofia, how much is left?
Sofia: 1 minute, thirty.
*Back in "Hidden Heroes"*
Evelyn: Hahahahahahaha! I told Lucks I didn't need a partner...
*Tari uses her meta runner vision to try and find Evelyn through the smoke. Then a pop up shows "Search: Failed"*
Evelyn: I'll kill you first, and then your little friend there. And finally... IT'LL JUST BE ME LEFT!
*Evelyn appears out of the smoke in between Lamar and Tari as she slices her katana on Tari's leg*
Tari: AAAH!
Lamar: Tari!
*Lamar shoots an arrow where he last saw Evelyn and nothing happens*
Evelyn: I figured you out you know...
*Evelyn appears out of the smoke again and hitting Tari and knocking her down. Lamar shoots an arrow at her, but Evelyn deflects it and throws a firecracker at him*
Lamar: No, no no no no NO!
*Lamar checks his timer on his meta runner arm. 45 seconds left*
Evelyn: That power of yours... it's so predictable. Coming up with the same strategies over and over.
*Tari lunges at Evelyn, only for her to get knocked down and her sword thrown off*
Evelyn: Heh, you're just not, special, at all-
*Tari activates her meta runner vision in a new form. Her eyes glow light pink and the game freezes*
Tari: What in the-
*She then comes from Evelyn's side, take her katana, and knock her down. As Evelyn looks over to Tari, she grabs Tari's katana she dropped and began to duel her. It would last long however since Tari gets a heavy kick on Evelyn and throwing them both into the air. Tari gives the final blow by grabbing Evelyn with her grapple hook and pulling Evelyn towards the end of her katana. Evelyn stands, then kneels, and finally falls and despawns*
Lamar: OH YEAH! THAT'S. HOW. IT'S. DONE!
Evelyn: NNNNNOOOOOOOOO!
*Lucks sees Evelyn's gaming pod have its lights turned off. In utter shock and horror. Sofia sees her laptop and sees the transfer data. 3. 2. 1*
Sofia: It's done. IT'S DONE!
*Her laptop then pops up with a "Protocol 5: Escape Protocol". She would tap a key on her laptop to execute it. Lamar would be automatically eliminated, and the stadium lights come off with the signs "Emergency Evacuation" Plastered all over the stadium. Sofia goes onto the stadium's PA system*
