Just Checking Up

*Y/N wakes up from his sleep and stretches around before putting on his hoodie and normal clothes. He brushes his teeth and leaves his room into Ari's living room*

Y/N: Ari! Ari, you up?

*Theres no response and Y/N starts looking around. Then he sees a note on the table*

Y/N "I'm going to be out for a bit to run some errands and to go see someone to help out with you. I'll be back by 3 pm. P.S, there's a treat in the fridge for you." Hmm, thanks Ari. Let's see what's in here-

*Y/N checks the time. It was 12:37*

Y/N: Damn, I really slept in...

*Y/N walks towards the fridge and sees his favorite snack inside which we're frosted sugar cookies. Then there's another note on the plate of cookies*

Y/N: OOOOOH! What's this?

*There was only one word on the note*

Y/N: "Enjoy ;)" I definitely will!

*Y/N eats down a few sugar cookies with a bit of milk but leaves a few for Ari when she gets back*

Y/N: Phew! I'm surprised I'm not diabetic yet...

*He cleans the cup and starts watching the skyline of Miami and looking at the traffic below. The people walking up and down the streets of the city and the splashing waters of the beach. Y/N almost tears up at the sights he had once lived in and left to live his own life. He opens his meta runner arm and goes through his own photos and sees a picture of four teens all having their arms around each others shoulders all smiling at the camera. One girl with a Jean jacket, and three other guys each wearing a hoodie, t-shirt, and a long sleeved shirt. They were in front of a firework show*

Y/N: Heh, Fourth of July. Damn that was fun. Wish I could go back to the good old days.

*Y/N goes through and then closes his old photos to sees his wallpaper of him and Tari again*

Y/N: Actually, I think I am living in the good old days... and they'll be even better when I'm back with you...

*Y/N then sits onto the living room couch and turns on the TV to look at the video game world news*

Y/N: Hmm, let's see what's on...

News Announcer: ...And last night at the Red Bull Ring, the video game arena. The finals of the World Battle Blaze Tournaments have been decided between both the competitors at Red Bull Gaming in their home arena against the new rising competitors at the AlphaMax Gaming Company...

Y/N: Ooooh, this has gotta be interesting!

News Announcer: ...After a near tiebreaker round at 34-38 final score line, the rookie at Red Bull Gaming, Justin Hill, gave the team the final kill and championship after getting the final kill for his teammate, Edward Martin.

Y/N: Edwards! He really got up quickly after everything. And even training his own rookie, takes some guts...

News Announcer: The defeated AlphaMax team duo of meta runner Lamar Williams and former TasCorp lineup meta runner, Belle Fontiere are still expected to be competing in the next few upcoming seasons and possible playoff season to try and redeem their loss from last night. However, post-game comments from both competitors still implied a very strong first season for both of them. And even state that the team are still in very high hopes after this years season and runner up position in the standings.

Y/N: Damn! Lamar and Belle also got into the grind fast! I wonder how the others are doing as well... I wonder if I could try and call them...

*Y/N goes through his saved contacts and finds his contact for Edwards. He dials it and someone picks up*
