Arena Announcer: AND IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO HERE IN SILVERSTONE! Dave Wilson has a great start in front of his new championship rival, Christian Newman! The Red Bull pulling through Abbey into the Wellington Straight! The Renault eTeam is close behind!
Will: Alright Dave, great start. Try to pull away and try to defend.
Dave: Got it.
Renault Engineer: Okay Newman, start could've been better but try to push for now. Fuel mode Three, fuel mode three.
Christian: I'm trying my best here! I guess I have to push harder...
*Quite a few laps later*
Arena Commentator 1: Lap 38 and a small crash out of the Hanger straight has now led to a virtual safety car. A few cars looks like they're starting to pit. Right now Red Bull are in a little of a predicament by putting their runner up to pit for soft tires, leaving none for their main driver.
Arena Commentator 2: Yes, however it seems that Elly Whitman has come out in front of Newman on the same compound, she might try to hold him back while Wilson tries to make up some ground of fresh medium tires. Wont be too quick for him but they'll definitely last the race.
Will: Okay Elly, the VSC is ending right now and right now you've got a hefty assignment, try to hold out Christian Newman and letting Dave catch up.
Elly: Does sound like quite a bit... how far is he?
Will: About 10 seconds off with 15 laps remaining. Shave off a second a lap and we'll be set. I believe in you.
Elly: Thanks Will, I'll go for it.
Race Control Announcer: Virtual Safety Car ended, back to racing speed.
*Christian starts going for the attack on Elly, she defends with the best she can while slowing him down on slow corners. Lap after lap the seconds go down for the both of them as Dave pushes as hard as he can with the slower, lost lasting tires. Elly still defends as hard as she can while Christian still keeps the pressure. Then, the margin was only 2 seconds off. 3 laps remaining*
Will: Perfect Elly, start letting go. Give Dave the DRS tow.
(DRS: Drag Reduction System. Basically opens a flap in the rear of a formula one car that is activated in a straight while two cars are less than a second off from each other)
Elly: Copy.
Renault Engineer: Alright Newman, Whitman is backing off now. Be aware however, she might start giving Wilson the tow and make him push. You've got 3 laps. Make it count.
Christian: Leave me alone I know what to do!
Renault Engineer: Okay. :(
*Elly gives Christian P1 while she and Dave start getting the DRS they need to start pushing. Only one lap left*
Will: Elly, cede the position. Podium finish is what we need.
Elly: Copy.
*Elly lets Dave through in front of her with him at just 0.7 seconds on Christian. Last lap*
Arena Announcer: Now, the final lap of the British Grand Prix in Silverstone! Two title contenders during it out onto the second sector! They arrive at Copse and THE RENAULT CRASHES INTO THE RED BULL! DAVE WILSON HAD BEEN KNOCKED OUT OF THE RACE WITH CHRISTIAN NEWMAN HAVING SEVERE DAMAGE!
