If Mario Was In... Battleship

Prologue

An RV tore down the road. Driving it was SMG4 and with him were Meggy, Mario, who had been changed back to his normal self, and Luigi, who they were still trying to change back. To make a long story short, Nintendo had trapped all the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom in a dome which was a firewall that was designed to reverse the damage that SMG4's Guardian Pod had caused. Meggy and SMG4 had been able to change Mario back to his meme self and were currently trying to get as far away from Nintendo as possible.

Meggy: Where are we going, SMG4?

SMG4: I found out that a few Mushroom Kingdom warships were on patrol the night Nintendo put up the firewall. I was able to call them and they were able to find a break in the firewall. So we'll get to them, head to the United States, and figure things out from there.

Meggy: How do you even know this?

SMG4: Plot convenience.

Mario: Well, do you even know what ships are gonna be picking us up?

SMG4: Yep, the Verona class destroyers Benjamin Franklin, Intrepid, and Winston Churchill. They'll meet us at Toad Harbor.

Mario: Okay I guess that makes sense.

Luigi: What are you people talking about?

SMG4: We'll explain later, Luigi.

A few hours later, they arrived at the harbor. Docked there were three ships that looked similar to the American's Arleigh Burkes. As the four of them stepped out of the RV, a familiar face stepped out of one of the destroyers to greet them.

SMG4: Chris!?

Chris: Yep, it's me.

Meggy: Didn't expect to see you here!

Chris: Well, I wanted to try the navy since Swag wasn't here to screw everything up. Right now I'm the acting captain of the Franklin.

Mario: Well, it's-a nice to see you anyway.

SMG4: Is anyone else with you?

Chris: Yeah, we picked up Tari, Saiko, Shroomy, and Melony a while ago. We already contacted the US and their sending a carrier strike group to escort us to Naval Station Norfolk.

SMG4: We should get going right now. The longer we stay here, the more likely Lawyer Kong will find us.

Chris: Good idea. Let's go!

Chris got back onto his ship while Mario, Luigi, Meggy, and SMG4 got on the Winston Churchill and the three ships headed off towards the east coast. Little did they know, a certain Kong was watching, and scheming.

Lawyer Kong: I think it's time to bring out the prototypes.
