Chapter 9

With how things evolved lately, Beomgyu was visibly down.

The exams came and went.

When we were finally all free I thought of something to help Beomgyu spend some happy moments.

That's when Jeju came to my mind.

It was a perfect place for a vacation all together, without Chaeyeon obviously.

She wasn't in our group anymore. Thankfully she distanced from us by herself. It would have been a little awkward otherwise.

"Guys I was thinking about a trip to Jeju, just us and Beomgyu" I proposed to the group as Beomgyu was not with us at the moment

"Sounds amazing! I've never been there" answered Yeji

"Yeah I also wanted to let Beomgyu experience something refreshing and I felt like Jeju could have been a perfect place to heal him as well" as I finished speaking I felt everyone's gaze on me

"Wow y/n, you're a very thoughtful friend" spoke Taehyun strucked

"Yeah I guess I care about you all" I said a little embarassed while looking away.

But when I turned back I met Soobin's gaze. He knew better, oh if he knew.

I was normally a caring person with the ones that were in my circle, but with Beomgyu it was different once again.

Oh if only things were as easy as in movies.

"I'm on it! I think we all deserve a good rest" uttered Kai.

Eventually we all agreed on Jeju as our destination for this summer.

When Beomgyu joined us I was ready to tell him about our decision, but someone else was faster.

"Hey bro we thought we could go to Jeju this summer, what do you think?" Said Yeonjun beating me on time

"Oh I think it is a brilliant idea! I would gladly join you all" he answered

"We're happy to hear that! We can also relax and refresh our minds a bit" spoke once again Yeonjun.

Beomgyu smiled hearing those words.

Even if he didn't know that the idea was mine I was contented with the fact that he appreciated what we were doing for him.
