[Y/n's pov]
Just as I arrived at the location of the party, I saw a very well dressed Yeonjun by the entrance.
"Fancy seeing you here tonight sir"
"Oh it's you y/n! I got scared for a little" he began "so nice to finally see you again" he finished saying by hugging me
"Yeah I missed you too dummy"
"Hey! Who are you calling dummy?"
"You! Who could it be? Dummy?"
We both laughed as we finally entered. I wasn't able to hear a thing he was saying, as music was very loud.
I just nodded to everything he said and a moment later I was left alone. I guessed he went to get some drinks, but I didn't know what to do in the meantime, nor where the others were.
Therefore, I just started roaming randomly around the big place in which the party was hosted.
After some minutes I spotted a tall blonde guy and I felt relieved.
"Hey Soobin" I said placing my hand on his shoulder
"Y/n!!! Omg I missed you so much, come here let me hug you!"
"Oh Soobin you're such a gentle giant"
"I'm guessing you wanna know where Beomgyu is right?"
"Mmh actually that too, but I mostly wanted to greet you..."
"Ah I can see through your lies so well! Anyway, he's out getting some fresh air, I think you should go now that he's alone" he said with a final wink.
I scoffed and started going towards the direction he indicated me.
My heart was beating so fast I thought it would just come out. I was so nervous for nothing... what was I even expecting from tonight?
I went out and the cold breeze hit my skin, a shiver went fastly down my spine.
I still couldn't find Beomgyu, even though I did as Soobin said.
Not until, moments later, I spotted him in intimate action with an unkown girl.
I felt like throwing up.
Why was it happening again?
Just as I started thinking that maybe I could have a chance, my heart was broken once again.
I should be used to this, but I'm here once again hurting as if it was the first time.
"Y/n?"
His voice interrupted my thoughts.
My eyes were full of tears and I didn't want to face him in this state, so I ran away.
"Wait y/n! It's not what it seems! Wait!"
I began running and I heard his footsteps following me.
Please leave me alone, you actually don't have anything to explain to me. We are not even a thing, I can't force you to be mine.
"Please stop" I heard him scream
But I didn't stop.
I just left.
Left without telling anyone, because I didn't have any will to party all night long when inside I was feeling completely different emotions.
I stopped when I arrived somewhere quiet. I didn't know where I was, but I just wanted ti cry in peace at least.
"Y/n..."
Oh no.
I turned around and there he was, with the most 'you're misunderstanding things' face I've ever seen.
"Y/n, please it's not what it seems. I know it sounds cliché but please..." he began with a desperate tone
"Beomgyu...you don't owe me any explanation. We're just friends after all, it's not like you prohibited from meeting other girls"
I wish you were mine tho.
"Yeah, but like- fuck! I don't know how to say this" he seemed frustrated
"Can't you please just leave me alone?" I asked almost on the verge of breaking down.
Why couldn't he just do what I was asking?
"No wait y/n you need to understand, I don't like that girl, I don't even know her name shit"
"What are you getting so worked up for?"
"It's cause I'm scared to lose you" he finally confessed.
Time stopped for a second.
"Scared of losing me? And why would that even happen?"
"It's just- I want to get things done properly with you"
What is he even talking about?
"Let's go to Tokyo"
"Are you drunk?" I asked perplexed
"No, I'm for real. Let's just go. We'll depart tomorrow and we'll figure out on the way what to do"
"Beomie I'm afraid to tell you that you really sound insane right now" I laughed as I spoke
"Oh cmon y/n!! Don't you wanna go?"
"I do wanna go, but are you really meaning what you're saying?"
"Yeah, I'm serious. Put your hand on my heart and feel it"
Oh boy.
"What?"
"Just do it"
His face was glowing. He had on the most beautiful smile I've ever laid my eyes on.
I did as he told me and I felt his beating heart with my hand. We smiled together and I felt at peace.
"Okay, we're going to Tokyo" I said with a big smile.
"Then let's get those tickets"
That's how we ended up at the airport a few hours later.
I didn't want to have any expectations whatsoever. I just departed with my mind at peace and a feeling of ease.
