- Jenny's Pov -

I wake up sweating and silently crying thanks to the the events in hydra plaguing my sleep making me almost lash out at Steve who is spooning me from behind with his arm around my waist. Thank god i woke up before i hurt him because if i did lash out at him i would never forgive myself since he is the one of the three people i want to protect with my life. Then i remember what Steve told me last night about him trying to find me all those years ago and him flying into the ice to save the world. He also told me about my own brother falling off a train which is how he lost his arm thats how hydra got hold of him and used him as a weapon for years, they brainwashed him so they could make him kill many people. Remembering all that made me cry more and made it harder for me to hide my crying because not only did hydra have me they had my sweet brother suddenly i'm held tighter and pulled backwards then Steve kisses my neck.

"Morning doll" He said in a husky morning voice

"M-morning" I said trying to hide that i'm crying

"Baby are you crying?" He asked worriedly

"N-no" I stutter holding back a sob

"Don't lie to me doll" He said turing me around so i'm on my back with him laying next to me

"I woke up to myself almost hitting you because of the flashbacks" I said between sobs finally letting myself cry out loud

"Oh baby come here, you lashing out wouldn't have been the first time it happened because Bucky was the same when he came here. I would go and wake him up and he would be in winter solider mode and attack me" He said softly as he pulled me into his arms and held me

"B-but your my husband!" I said between sobs

"Exactly for better, for worse remember and right now you need me for both so i'm going to hold you untill you have stopped crying because my wife should not cry over something she had no control over" He said then kissed my forehead
