- Chapter 10: His deams haven't come true -

- Jenny's Pov -

The next morning i wake up, have a shower and get dressed then go down to the common floor kitchen leaving Steve and Elliott asleep on our floor because after the long sleepless night i had last night i want to bake James his favourite cake which is simply a victoria sponge cake with strawberry jam in the middle and strawberries on the top of it. Back in the day James always loved eating my cakes because he said they always taste exactly like mums used too and it used to remind him of our childhood so im hoping this cake will help him get some of those memories back that hydra stole from him. Doing this will also help me keep my mind from worrying over James because i know he is good hands with Bruce beside him right now so me worrying is going to do no-one any good.

Once i've finished baking and the cake is in the oven i clean the whole kitchen and make myself a cup of coffee still trying to keep my mind off James but i never wanted my brother to go through hard ships i wanted him to have a good life, get married and have children which i know he wanted before all of this. Me and James planned our whole lives together but those plans have been for nothing because of hydra and the trauma they have left us both with. I just hope those plans can come into action soon because all i want is to see James happy like he used to be back in the day maybe he will find a lucky women or man to take away him pain so he doesn't silently suffer anymore.

"Lady Jenny, what are you doing awake at this hour" Loki said walking into the kitchen

"I couldn't sleep so i decided to come down here to bake James his favourite cake" I said placing my coffee on the kitchen island

"I have some tea that will help you sleep better if you would like to try it tonight before you go to your chambers" He said sitting at the kitchen island

"Only if your okay with that because i know how much you treasure your stuff from asgard" I said softly

"I will be honoured to share my tea with you if it means you get a full night's rest lady Jenny because you need that rest being a mother, now tell me what had you so restless last night" He said with a small sad smile

"James because i know he didn't want a life like this, both of us planned our future together and being tortured by hydra ruined those plans and it's hurting me knowing that James is silently hurting because his dreams haven't come true" I said with tears in my eyes

"Bucky is a close friend of mine and he has told me about these plans and let me tell you that those plans are coming into action he just needs a boost of confidence then his dreams will come true" He said conjouring himself a cuppa tea

"I hope they do come true because he deserves happiness just as much as i do" I said as lone tear rolls down my cheek

"The both of you will be happy Jenny, just give Bucky some time" He said with a knowing look

"Wait, back up a minute did you just say those plans are coming into action!" I said now in shock

"Yes i did, He has feelings for someone and he just needs a little confidence boost" He said with a smirk

"Who is it, i want to help him but i need to know who it is" I said excitedly

"He has feelings for Lady Wanda but he thinks he isn't good enough for her and that she won't want him" He said with a frown

"Oh Wanda will be amazing for him! She is everything he visioned for his lady back in the day. Plus i have a feeling Wanda likes him too and we just have to get both of them to admit their feels for each other" I said smiling

"I have a plan for that so don't worry" He said smirking at me

"Good because James deserves to be happy with the person her has feelings for" I said happily

"Please tell me you don't have my doll meddling Loki" Steve said walking into the kitchen with Elliott in his arms

"I would do not such thing captain" Loki said with his hand over his heart

"Oh you definitely would Loki, Doll where are Elliott's bottles?" Steve said and asked curiously

"Tony said their in the cupboard next to the fridge that is labelled Elliott's cupboard" I said as Steve placed Elliott in my arms

"Miss Rogers, Mr Banner is requesting for you in the medical room" Friday announced and i worry instantly

"Loki do you mind holding Elliott so Steve can make his bottle and i can do to the medical room?" I asked Loki softly

"Of course i don't mind, pass me the little bean" He said holding his arms out

"Thank you Loki" I said placing Elliott in his arms

I give Elliott a kiss on the forehead and give Steve a sweet kiss then i walk quickly to the medical room that's thankfully on this floor. Once i get to the medical room i walk straight in and see James awake on the hospital bed with a small smile on his face. I run over then climb into the bed laying next to him and cry into his chest because my biggest fear is that he wouldn't wake up.

"I'm okay sister, nothing will ever take me away from you, Steve or little Rogers" He said as her rubbed my back

"I thought i was going to loose you" I cry into his chest

"Never little sister, your never going to loose me" He said then kissed my forehead

"I called you down here Jenny because Tony wants to know of your ready to have your new arm fitted" Bruce said interrupting our moment

"Right now?" I asked nervously as i wipe my face

"Yes, Bucky will be beside you the whole time and we will be quick" He said pushing his glasses up his nose

"Then yes i want it fitted but can someone inform Steve about this" I said knowing Steve will be furious if no-one tells him i'm having surgery

"Friday inform Steve of Jenny's operation" Bruce said helping me off James bed and walks me over to the bed next to James

"James you won't leave right" I asked feeling scared

"I'm not going anywhere Jen" He said softly

"I want you to count down from ten" Bruce said placing a mask over my nose and mouth

"Nine, eight, seven" I said starting to feel sleepy

"Six, five, four, thre-" Before i could finish saying three i fall into darkness

"It will be over soon Jen, I love you sister" I hear James say before i plunge deeper into darkness
