- Chapter 18: Moving day part one-

- Jenny's Pov - 

I tape up the last box of Elliott's things and look around the floor that has been mine and Elliott's home for a while now and to see it empty makes me feel emotional and happy at the same time. The reason im stood in the middle of a now empty floor is because today is the day me, Steve, James and Peter move out of the avenger's compound and into our new forever home. It's been about a week since Tony told us about the house and all week me, Steve, James and Peter have been buying alot of furniture making sure our home will be homely and comfortable. Then when James and Peter wasn't helping me do online shopping they were spending time with their now girlfriend and boyfriend also knows as Wanda and Loki after all four of them finally told each other their feelings. Now i never see one without the other because they're always glued to one another's hip and it's great to finally see my brother happy and to see Peter happy in his first relationship.

It feels nice to finally start living my dreams but i feel emotional leaving the team because they have all became important to me in different ways. I know i will always see them because they have said it themselves that they will always visit daily to make sure we are safe and to be a constant member in Elliott's life. Then Wanda and Loki have decided they will stay in the compound untill they have moved further into their relationships with James and Peter who thankfully both understood completely. It's time for the next chapter of my life and i can honestly say i'm ready for it with the four most important people in my life beside me to enjoy it with me.

"Mama Jenny?" Peter said in the livingroom

"I'm in mine and Steve's room honey" I said loudly so he can hear me

"It's time to load everything up mama, pop's is waiting on the common floor with Elliott" He said walking into mine and Steve's now empty bedroom

"It's finally time for me and you to have some Elliott time?" I said knowing he has wanted to spend time with Elliott all day but everyone has been wanting to say their individual goodbyes to Elliott

"Yes it is so can we please hurry down there" He said bouncing on his toes

"Okay, okay but you have to help me carry these last few boxes down there" I said picking up one box

"Okay, are you sure this is it?" He asked picking the last box up

"I'm sure, let's go to the common floor before your pop's comes up here to drag us down" I said amusingly

"You're right" He said smiling

Both of us walk out the bedroom, boxes in hand then go and stand in the elevator while telling Friday to take us down to the common floor. The whole elevator ride Peter was telling me how he wanted to set up his room so it would be perfect and safe for when Elliott starts to walk. When the elevator stopped i had tears in my eyes because hearing him say he wants his room safe for his brother melted my heart at how well he is blending into our family.

"Love what's wrong?" Steve asked as soon as he saw me walk out the elevator

"Peter what's to make his room safe for when Elliott starts walking" I said trying to blink my tears away so Peter doesn't see them

"I don't want my little brother getting hurt" Peter said shrugging his shoulders

"Pass us the box Peter and have your time with Elliott before your mama takes him for his bottle" James said walking over

"Yay! Cuddle time!" Peter said happily as he practically threw the box at James

"He really does love the little soldier" Tony said leaning against the wall with his arms crossed

"Just like the rest of me and don't you dare say you don't Tony because i swear i saw you shed a tear or two when you said your goodbye to Elliott" James said smirking

"Okay, you got me there Bucky" Tony said raising his hands in surrender

"Doll is there anymore boxes?" Steve asked ignoring Tony

"These are the last two, our floor is completely empty now" I said with a small smile

"Don't be upset sister, it's time to move on" James said softly as Steve took the other box of him

"I know James but everyone is family" I said sadly

"They will always be family Jenny and your forgetting that they said they would visit daily and we can always come here for a visit" Steve said softly then kissed my forehead and walked away carrying the two boxes

"He's right Jen, you will always be welcome to come here to visit or stay over" Tony said softly

"Mama! Elliott is being fussy i think he needs feeding" Peter said loudly from the livingroom before i could even reply to Tony

"I'm coming son" I said loudly

"Go to them sister so we can make sure everything is loaded up especially some meals Wanda made for you so you can focus on unpacking and don't have to cook for the next few days " James said softly

"Please make sure you don't break anything" I said softly

"I promise to be careful" He said with a small smile

I hug James and Tony then walk into the livingroom only to see Peter pacing around the livingroom bouncing a fussing Elliott in his arms trying to calm him down. I rush to the kitchen where Wanda is finishing up our meals but she stops what she's doing and hands me a made bottle with a smile on her face then she waves me away. I rush back to the livingroom and hand Peter the bottle wanting him to have that special bonding time that happens when you feed a baby, his little brother. He takes the bottle then gentle starts to feed Elliott with a big smile on his face and i couldn't help but smile at him too because my two sons are finally creating a unbreakable bond.
