A.N: Cale expected many things in life... this was not one of them. (No hunters). Couldn't find Hans last name so made one up.
It was hard for Cale to gain Hans trust in the beginning, if anything even after the fateful encounter with Hong and On Cale managed to get in Hans good side... but not entirely.
Cale would still find himself sighing as Hans would become increasingly afraid of Cale whenever he had any alcoholic drink in his hands.
So of course, Cale, who was planning on getting rid of Ron, the original Cale's 'Faithful servant' he hoped to get Hans under his list of people to be close to.
Afterall, no other butler had the chance of becoming Head butler than Deputy Butler Hans, and honestly Cale knew their was no one better suited to be his butler during Ron's absence than Hans.
So Cale naturally hoped to appeal to the butler... but it was almost impossible to do so when the ginger feared his every move!
Cale couldn't get with a four feet radius of Hans without the butler growing pale and flinching like a caged animal.
'Why?! Why must you treat like I'm Ron! Do I look like an assassin to you?!'
But Cale was by no means a quitter, he was going to get his Slacker life even if it killed him!
So Cale observed Hans every move until he found a way to 'Bribe' Hans into trusting him...
And he did.
Broadway Music.
It was only natural that novel like set in an Olden European type setting like 'The Birth of a Hero' would not have much music style.
It had mainly Classical Music... and some 'Broadway' music.
Broadway music was a 'new' type of music that The Birth of a Hero world had just gotten into... so naturally this new genre of music would have limited choices to it.
This was mainly due to it being a new type of music mainly played in the slums of commoners rather than the more 'Noble Music' that was played in theaters and Opera's.
Cale mentally added another reason the Birth of the Hero was... troublesome..
The music was abysmal.
So Cale as soon as he found out used record to remember ever Broadway style song he'd heard in his past life.
That and the knowledge from giant Musical Theory books he'd devoured in his life as Kim Rok Soo.
And after a lot of mental screaming of: 'For my slacker life, for my slacker, slacker life.'
Cale had as accurately written down every one of these types of songs, he could remember with the sheet music in Treble Clef and in Bass Clef, with the specific instrument that played all the parts of the song.
Cale apologizes... but he was to lazy to write the part for every instrument in each song...
So he just wrote the main one, and at the bottom of the page wrote:
'Meant to be played with (Insert long List of instruments).'
He ended up with over 15 books each one thick as a brick.
The entire thing had taken a bunch of mental and physical strain onto Cale, but it was worth it, plus now he had an excuse for sleeping in!!!
The next day Cale wrapped the gifts in red and gold Present Wrap and asked one of the servants to deliver them all to Hans.
Hans arrived at his door later with tears in his eyes, and tackled him into a hug.
The plan worked, Hans was now loyal to him.
