A.N.: I'm back! Trigger Warning: Slight mentions of child experimentation and slavery. This is a cover by Amalee I recommend all her covers she's great!

The saying ignorance is bliss was something that ruled the actions of the glimmering Desert City of Caro, it was especially embodied by its Prince.

He who lived completely unaware of the suffering of his citizens and continued to smile in his own innocence, oblivious to ways of his beloved friend.

The man grit his teeth.

"He would never be a good ruler at this point."

"This isn't our city hyung-nim, you shouldn't interfere." A younger man stated.

"Do you just expect me to stand by?"

The older man clicked his tongue, he ran his hands through his dark hair.

"Children shouldn't have to go through this," He started, "I know... but we can't do anything about this-"

"You were always so negative about possibilities."

"I'm not!"

The man slowly walked toward the younger man his face now clearly revealed by the rising sun.

His face was perpetually covered in open wounds that bleed endlessly.

"If you weren't I wouldn't be here." The man- no, the ghost stated calmly.

The younger man chuckled bitterly, his eyes red from lack of sleep.

"You're the only to blame for your choice in unfinished business."

The ghost didn't need to speak his thoughts, because the younger man already knew what was going to be said.

"I don't want to be alone... please just a little while longer." It was selfish wish, to keep the dead unable to rest just because one couldn't handle their own grief.

"Cale, you'll never be alone, even with me gone."

Cale reached for the hand of the ghost, but it was already to late the ghost was already soaring away toward the unknown.

Heaven perhaps, Kim Rok Soo had always been too kind to find himself anywhere else.

"No matter where I'll go just seek the end of the sunlight."

"I'll be there." His fading voice echoed.

It was code... no not code, more like a riddle without a solution.

"The End of the Sunlight" was and old destroyed pub of Caro.

Aptly stated by the name it was where the houses of the rich ended and where the slums began.

That was where they first met, but it was long gone now.

It was Rok Soo's way of saying that like that pub he was now but a memory.

They'll meet again in the afterlife he knew that, but it still hurt.

Cale let tears fall for once in the three months after his brother's death.

Finally, he gave himself time to mourn.

Kiara yelped and squirmed at the uncomfortable feeling on her stomach.

A scalpel not as painful as the kitchen knives her previous proctor used, probably because these were made to surgically cut human skin.

"Shut up." The man stated simply.

He had dark brown hair and ugly orange eyes.

Good, he didn't match the description of the masked devil that brought them here.
