When Peeta and Katniss brought the berries to their mouths, the announcement went off that both of them could win. Peeta went to hold her in his arms, but she pushed away. Tears rolled down her face. Peeta was confused until he saw that there were no berries in her hand or on the ground. She had already eaten them.
"No!" Peeta screamed. Katniss fell and her cannon went off. Peeta caught her in his arms. "Why?" Peeta screamed. "Why her?" Suddenly, Peeta scrambled for the nightlock on the ground. He was desperate. There was no life without Katniss. The nightlock was no where to be found. The Capitol picked Peeta up with Katniss held tightly to his chest. When Peeta returned home, his family became suspiciously close to him. It didn't take long for him to realize they were using him for fame and riches. Peeta grew up quickly, and married Delly. They had three kids. Two boys, one girl. Delly got to name the two boys. Peeta begged Delly to let him name their baby girl. Reluctantly, she agreed to this. He didn't need to think before naming her. He'd spent his whole life thinking about this name.
"Katniss. I'll name her Katniss."
