Katniss and Peeta lock hands at their last breaths, the final bomb of war goes off as both of their hearts stop; leaving their two children to be orphans. The end of the war signified the beginning of a new government, where each family would be set to live with one specific way of life. Both kids were taken in by a family called the Priors. The young Mallark girl was named Beatrice; the boy Caleb. They both grew up as selfless children, until the age of
sixteen.
Tris transferred to Dauntless, Caleb to Erudite.
Some say Tris is divergent because of the way her brain is programmed.
But most think it was because of her mother.
