I heard people talking around me, but I paid them no mind. I conserved my energy, focusing on my wolf healing my wounds. I aided her where I could. One voice broke through my focus,
"Alright, but let me know as soon as she wakes up. I must speak with her."
His voice, it almost sounded familiar. Like an ancient memory. My wolf pushed to the forefront of my mind, all thoughts of my injuries forgotten. She took over and opened my eyes. Standing next to the doctor that had been attending me was a young man about my age with blonde hair and brown eyes. My hands rested on either side of my body, gripping the edge of the sickbay bed. Our eyes met and something shifted into place in my brain, like clicking in a piece of a jigsaw puzzle. He had such beautiful brown eyes, a very similar shade to my own. He shook his head as if clearing his mind. A few barely a moment we held our place, locked in each others gaze before his eyes unfocused. They shifted rapidly from their natural colour to a much darker colour and back. Odd. Who was this boy to me? My wolf began pushing my body forward. I ran to the boy and wrapped my arms around him, standing on my toes to bury my head in his neck. He looked oddly familiar, but I couldn't remember his name for the life of me. Only one word came to mind,
"Brother" I whispered.
He rested his face on top of my head, inhaling my scent,
"Sister"
"Oi. What did you just say Joel?" Jared pushed himself off the wall, stalking towards us.
"She is my sister. My twin to be exact."
"And you know this how?"
"We can feel it. " I said with conviction. Because I just knew.
"The instant we looked in each others eyes we saw who the other was." Joel clarified.
"And how do you think your father is going to take this?" Moran said, as he stood upright.
"He shall be glad beyond all unserstanding that his daughter has returned home."
Through my mind rushed the true gravity of the situation. I was not my parents child. My mother and father were not my mother and father. My aunts and uncles were not my family. My grandfather, whom I loved so dearly, was no relation of mine. I released my brother and stepped back into the centre of the small crowd. Each person in the room had moved as such to be in the shape of a circle. They stood there staring hungrily at me. Like the ravenous wolves they were.
"Jessica. What's wrong? You can come home now." My brother said extending a hand in my direction.
"I-I don't know who I am." I said quietly.
"Yes you do. You are Jessica Grey. Daughter of the Alpha of the Daweson Creek Pack and sister to the Alpha-heir. Your birthday is July 8th." Joel replies]d.
"But that's just it. That's not who I am. I used to be Jessica Jackson. Daughter to Mary and George Jackson. My birthday was September 22nd. I loved my family very much and would have done anything to protect them. I was a Rogue Wolf with anger issues and a bunch of supposed friends. Now, none of that is me and it makes no sense."
