The Halstead Reunion

Chapter 10

Since Alex had been sent home to rest after the accident she had been staying at Will's place since both of them were worried about her and thought that her staying with Will would be the safest option so he could check on her and his future niece/nephew in case anything should happen and even though she loved it and how protective they are of her it was getting a bit bored just staying at home not doing much. She had been thinking of moving in with her godfather who lives in New York so she also can be closer to Dominick though she knows Will and Jay are not gonna like it.

"Will, can we talk?" She asked her older brother as he walked into the living room moving his attention to her when she mentioned him.

"Yeah sure. Is everything okay? You seem a bit on edge" Will asked sitting across from her getting a bit worried.

"I have been thinking of moving in with my godfather while I'm on this break" She said as Will got a serious look on his face which is what she expected.

"Elliot? He lives in New York and he hasn't even seen you since you were born!" Will said getting a bit defensive like he has some beef with him.

"Actually i got to catch up with him while I was in New York. Where do you think I lived? Plus it would give my child a chance to connect with their father as well" Alex said getting defensive as well.

"Jay needs to be in on this as well. Let's continue this later" Will said standing up walking back and forth.

"We just got you back! You're not leaving after everything that happened" Will said slightly yelling.

"Will I'm an adult now! I know I've been through some shot but I can make decisions on my own!" Alex yelled getting frustrated.

"What are you gonna do if something happens to the baby?!?! We haven't even met the guy yet!" Will asked going into half doctor mode half protective brother mode.

"I don't know if you know this but they do have hospital in New York! You'll meet him when he has time! You impatient pick" Alex said crossing her arms over her chest.

"Don't play sassy with me. Go to your room while I call Jay! I will not accept this behaviour from you!" Will said pointing towards her room as he walked out of the room calling Jay.

"Fuck you. I hate you!" Alex said as she stood up debating on whether she should leave or not as she cannot stand being in the same apartment as her brother.

She wrote a note and placed it on the counter as she went to pack a bag and sooner than later she was out of that door.

Walking down the streets of Chicago not answering either of her brothers nor Hailey or Natalie as she felt her phone buzz a million times it started raining heavily when she arrived outside Kelly and Stella's apartment as she stood outside the door with tears running down her face.

"Alex what happened?" Kelly asked as Alex said nothing but just hugged him straight away as she broke down in his arms as he took her inside when Stella came down to see what was happening when she saw Alex clinging onto Kelly as he shot her a worried look.

After some time of her letting everything out she finally spoke up as they were sat on the couch all 3 of them.

"Will and I had a huge fight because I said I had been thinking of moving in with my godfather who lives in New York. But I haven't made a decision about it yet." Alex said drying her eyes.

"He'll get around it. They're just worried and they just got you back" Stella said stroking her arm giving her a sympathetic smile.

"I know but me and Will also resemble each other a lot so when we fight it's really bad" Alex said as Kelly agreed with that having been a witness before to one of the fights between her and Will.
