"Hey. I got my passport. Do you have the ticket?" Collin was waving with his passport in his hand, when he came back.
"Yeah, but we have to wait." I replied.
"What, why?"
"For the others."
"The others?!" Collin's face looked funny when he was confused, so I chuckled and explained.
"Yeah. They arrived here when you got your passport, and I convinced them to come too." I told him proudly with a big smile. I still didn't know if it was the best idea, to make everyone risk getting lost in the woods with me, but I was kind of glad I didn't have to go alone anymore.
"Wait really?" Collin exclaimed unbelievingly.
"Yes!"
"Okay... Great."

Luckily, the others also got back in time with their passports, and I got the tickets, so we then all could go on the plane together. They all had to pay me at least a bit back though, because after that I was more than broke.
And before we got on the plane, I noticed something. "Wait, guys. Did you all seriously went home to get your passports, but didn't think about taking anything else with you?" I asked dumbfounded.
As they all looked down at themselves, they embarrassedly and regretfully nodded simultaneously.
"I guess we forgot about that. We all hurried so much to make it back in time that we couldn't think abut anything else." Mona explained.
I sighed, but it was too late anyway. "Well, I guess as long as we have enough money, it should be okay." I said, but raised my brow to make sure they in fact had at least some money. When they all nodded again, we finally got on the plane.
My seat was next to an old lady, on the aisle side, while Collin's was next to a small family with a little boy.
Albert and Lia sat next to each other with a couple in their row and Mona and Nick sat with a guy who was sleeping like a rock.
Before the plane took off, I walked over to Mona who was still standing in the aisle and asked her, if we could swap seats because I wanted to sit next to Nick, so I could talk to him about what he said earlier. Mona was of course totally okay with that, so I got my backpack and sat down next to Nick, trying not to wake the guy on his other side.
"What are you doing?" Nick asked, looking slightly confused, but also like he didn't mind it though.
"I swapped seats with Mona." I explained, stating the obvious.
"Okay, but why? I mean I don't mind it, but why?"
"Don't worry. I just wanted to talk to you." I said while I lowered my head, fearing the conversation about to happen.
The flight attendant was speaking and gave instructions before I could speak on, but shortly after she was done, and the plane finally took off.
"We don't have to talk about anything." Nick said, looking me in the eyes.
"Yes, we do." I contradicted. "I was a shitty friend. I always knew that you, and Lia... had lost a friend and a brother too. And you were always taking care of me. You worried about me so much, but you never wanted to talk about what it did with you. And as a friend I should've wondered about that more and I should've made you talk. It's not fair that you took care of me, but no one took care of you. We both should've been there for each other."
"No. Ena. It's okay. If I had needed you, I would've said something. This is on me too." Nick quickly added, but I still disagreed.
"No, it's not. As a friend it's my job to take care of you and your feelings. We were going through the same shit. I could've helped you. And if you were alright then you wouldn't have reacted like that before."
