Part 3: The Mush Room

After leaving the Warden's office, Sonic, Tails, Jesse, and Radar continue to follow Stella down the hallway.

As the group rounds a corner, Tails applies tape to the pieces of Radar's glasses before putting them back together.

Tails: (handing the glasses back to Radar) Here, Radar. I fixed them for you.

Taking the glasses back from Tails, Radar then puts them on his face and says,

Radar: Thanks, Tails. But how did you...?

Tails: I still had some tape in my inventory.

Sonic: Guess the Admin didn't take EVERYTHING when he sent us here.

Jesse: He probably only got rid of what he thought could be a problem for us, like our armor... our weapons... and most other things that could help us to get out of here.

Nodding, Tails replies,

Tails: Yeah... yeah, that makes sense.

Stella: Hey, keep quiet back there!

Eventually, the hallway opens up to show a large room with a high ceiling. At the far end of the room, several cells blocked off by doors and iron bars can be seen.

Around the room, several associates are  seen watching over the guests, all of whom are wearing orange uniforms.

Most notable among these is a person who's busy making a painting while Petra and Nurm stand nearby.

Elsewhere, Knuckles and Amy are busy comforting Cream, who's sitting on the floor while looking frightened.

Also, Shadow, Rouge stand near a wall with Omega, who seems to spark and fizzle. A short distance away from Team Dark, Vector, Espio, and Charmy stand nearby and talk with each other.

While these things are happening around them, Stella leads Sonic, Jesse, and friends up to one of the associates, a dark-skinned man with a cookie in his hand.

Once they're near the associate, Stella says,

Stella: Here's some more of our new arrivals. Show them around, will ya?

The associate, looking confused, asks,

Associate: Excuse me? Who are you supposed to be?

Stella: Is there a problem here?

Associate: No, it's just that... I've never seen you here before.

Looking between Stella and the associate, Jesse then speaks up, saying,

Jesse: She's a new... associate.

Sonic: You guys should watch your backs when she's around. She can be a bit... bossy.

Before the associate can reply, Stella then says,

Stella: Ta-ta, Jesse, Sonic. I have to attend to my post in a much more... impressive cell block. Try not to be too jealous.

Stella then turns to leave while Sonic and Jesse roll their eyes again.

Suddenly, they hear Radar groaning in pain.

Turning, the hedgehog and the young builder see that the intern is clutching at his stomach, a pained look on his face.

Jesse: Hey... you alright, Radar?

Radar: I wish... I'm just feeling... so hungry. Wish I could get something to eat... Need to get my strength back up.
